Once everyone had left the diner it was just me and Jess. We started wiping the counters and stacking chairs when he asked,

"Hey can I put on some music?"

"Yeah that would be great." I replied.

Lost in the supermarket by The Clash starts playing.

"Oh I love this song!" I squeeled.

Jess laughed.

"Guess you have good taste in music then." He replied whilst cleaning the counter top.

After the job was done we sat at the bar.

"So why did you come to Stars Hollow?" Jess asked tapping his fingers on the counter nervously.

"Oh um, it wasn't by choice. I got in a fight with a girl that had been teasing me since middle school, I hadn't paid much attention to it before but I guess I just snapped. I broke her jaw...... and nose but felt horrible about it after." I explained guiltily.

Jess looked at me in shock with his eyebrows risen.

"Didn't picture you as the fighting type." He smirked.

"I didn't either." I spoke looking at him in his eyes.

That was the moment I realised I had feelings for Jess Mariano. That was the moment I realised that he was the first boy I had ever liked.

I blushed at the thought turning my face to hide it.

He walked me back home since it was already dark out even though Stars Hollow is definitely not a dangerous place.

"I actually had a lot of fun working with you." He stated as we strolled along the street.

"Right back at you Mariano." I replied with a grin on my face.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He said when we got to my front porch.

"You most definitely will." I smiled sticking my hands in my pockets.

"Bye Jess."

"Bye Jane"

No one had ever called me Jane before but I liked it.

"Hey, I'm home." I shouted closing the door behind me.

I spotted Rory and Dean kissing on the couch.

"Ew gross." I mumbled to myself walking up the stairs, going unnoticed by the two.

My room was finally ready. I started unpacking my clothes into my closet and my books into my book shelf.

I had a big window in the front of the house with a window seat under it. I felt so lucky and couldn't wait to read there.

I had a normal bathroom with a shower.
I really liked my desk, it was a dark chocolate wood with little, teensy gold embellishments.

I jumped into my bed and grabbed a book when I checked the clock.

It was already 22:34pm, I had to get to bed. I showered, brushed my teeth and picked out my pjs before passing out happily in my new beautiful room.

I woke up to my alarm clock ringing. It was 6:30 in the morning. I groaned, groggily got up and started getting ready.
