I was back in the storage room when I heard someone open the door.

"You won't believe what Luke told me." He chuckled.

"What?" I asked.

"He told me that I'm not allowed within a meter of you and that we have to always have adult supervision."

"He said some other things but I'd rather not say." He added.

"That's crazy talk." I smiled at him walking closer.

"Ah less than a meter." He smirked also walking closer.

"Out!" Luke yelled just as we were about to kiss. Jess smirked giving me a peck on the lips.

"What's the matter grumpy." Jess chuckled making Luke even more angry.

"Luke won't let me and Jess do our jobs." I whined sitting at Lorelai's and Rory's table.

"Matilda upstairs!" Luke yelled already hiding onto Jess by the collar of his shirt. Jess looked petrified making me chuckle.

"Sit." He ordered making me and Jess sit on the chairs around his dining table.

"We're laying some ground rules. First of all I'm doing this for Matilda, over the last few months she's been here she has shown me that she is a respectable, honest, smart person. On the other hand Jess you are not." He pointed at Jess making me giggle.

"Because of that Matilda I will not let you get influenced by Jess and his stupid ways." He continued. I never knew Luke felt so strongly about me.

"There will be no baby making in the storage room, no kissing or signs of attraction in my diner. Do you understand?"

"Ewww Luke." I Whined. Making Jess laugh.

"Do you understand?" He repeated.

"Yes sir." We said in unison. My cheeks were bright red, I felt so embarrassed.

"Jess you head down, Luke can I speak to you for a minute?" I asked Luke.

"Go on." He said when Jess left.

"Thank you for looking out for me Luke. I haven't known you for long but I really appreciate it." I smiled.

He smiled back hugging me.

"Anything for you kid." He said.

I went back to work and worked until my shift ended. It was 21:15 when I got off work. I said bye to Luke and left. Jess had disappeared somewhere so I decided to just head home, besides I was tired from my ballet class.

I showered and ordered a pizza on the phone. I had no idea where Lorelai and Rory where but i didn't mind. I put on a pair of gray sweatpants and a pink tank top before braiding my hair and throwing on my bunny slippers.

I heard the doorbell ring and I assumed it was the pizza so I grabbed my wallet and ran downstairs to open the door.

"You're not the pizza." I said.

"Doesn't seem like it Jane."

"What are you doing here Jess?" I asked letting him in.

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out."

"Yeah come on." I signalled for him to come upstairs after he took his shoes off.

"Wow what great pyjamas you have." He joked.

"Stop, they're comfortable." I slapped his arm.

"I bought you something." He said pulling something out his back pocket.
