"Thanks Matilda, you can go ahead and go home." Said Luke after we closed the diner.

"Hey, you ready?" Asked Jess right as he walked downstairs.

"Where are you going?" Asked Luke.

"Movie." Answered Jess in a monotone voice grabbing his jean jacket off the coat rack.

"Bye Luke." I said as we left the diner.

Jess put his arm around my shoulder taking my jaw in his hand and leaning my head to the side, kissing me quickly as we walked to the movie theatre.

"So, what are we getting at the theatre?"

"I was thinking popcorn and milk duds." Jess answered.

"My favourites." I smiled.

I noticed a group of about 5 guys heading our way tapping Jess on the shoulder and pointing at them.

"Huh, they look like they're heading right our way." He scrunched his eyebrows together in confusion.

"Matilda!" Yelled a voice creating goosebumps all along my arms.

"Do you know them?" Asked Jess as we kept walking.

"Only one very annoying one." I sighed.

We kept walking, paying no attention to the guys before they all jogged up to us and stopped in front.

"Hey Matilda, did you not hear me?" Asked Liam with a sly grin on his face.

"I heard you loud and clear."

"This is the girl I told you about." Said Liam to all his friends making them all laugh.

"Let's go." Whispered Jess in my ear grabbing my hand and pulling me away,

"Aww is this your boyfriend?" Asked Liam stopping in front of us again.

"Hey man, just step aside." Groaned Jess rolling his eyes, pushing past all the guys and pulling me with him.

I could hear them all laughing behind us but we kept walking until we hit the movie theatre

"So, how do you know him?" Jess asked after we bought our movie tickets.

"I don't actually know him, but I was outside of Andrew's and he just started talking to me and wouldn't stop. Since then I've run into him a couple of times." I sighed not wanting to worry him.

"Tell me if you see him again, Okay?" He said softly kissing the top of my head before we went to buy popcorn.

We chose seats in the back of the theatre on a red couch. Kirk sat in front of us with a huge bucket of popcorn, eating really loudly.

"Hey Kirk, mind piping down a bit?" I said tapping his shoulder lightly.

"Oh.....sure." He said turning to look at me.

Jess put his arm around me pulling me closer and kissing the top of my head. I rested my head on his shoulder and hearing his heartbeat making me feel so warm and cozy.

The movie was funny and really good, we had a great time. We walked around the fairly quiet and dark town hand in hand. It felt like a dream.

"You know when I first saw you, I really was surprised by your accent." Jess said as we sat down on the bench in the gazebo.

"You thought I was American?" I chuckled.

"Yeah, like Lorelai and Rory." He smiled.

"You are like them you just talk twice as fast." He added making me laugh.
