-I wan-wanted to know if you could, maybe, h-help me f-find a way to g-g-go out with the student council president?" Asked Lucas while blushing and stuttering excessively, speaking with a pleading tone.

Taken aback by his request, it took me a few seconds to register his request, one more to consider what answer or advice I could possibly give and yet another second to realize that I had absolutely no experience with romance. Not only had I never been in any type of relationship, but I never had to seduce anyone.

The closest I ever got to it was with someone else falling in love with me, despite doing anything to get them to. All I did in my past life was constantly running away from Cecilia, not wanting to even think about it, as for my current life, although Tessia did confess to me multiple times, I genuinely have no idea how I got her to especially because of her time traveling shenanigans.

-Uhm... Arthur?" Asked the half elf in a slightly confused and worried tone as he glanced at me, snapping me out of my thought process.

-Yeah, yeah, no problem." I answered as a reflex to reassure him, only to his face light up in utter joy and excitement as I realized that he interpreted my sentence as an answer to his prior request.

-T-thank you! I'll forever be in your debt." He said before bowing down to a 90°angle as I side stepped just in time to avoid being it by his head.

-No need to be so formal about it." I answered with an awkward smile, "Plus, I'm probably not the best person to ask for advice on that subject." I explained trying to lower his expectations. "And its always a good idea to get a second opinion.

-There really isn't anyone else I can ask." He answered nervously after raising his back-up straight.

-Don't you have any other friend, or... your brother!" I suddenly remembered, "He is a lance, I'm sure he is popular with members of the opposite gender." I explained with confidence to try and persuade him to go bother someone else with that question.

-Well, I uhm... I did try to ask him..." He answered in a slightly hesitant tone. "B-but he said he'd annihilate anyone trying to seduce me, u-unless they beat him in a fight." Explained Lucas, as I made a mental note that Bairon's policy on how to deal with anyone trying to go out with his younger sibling was very close to mine.

Maybe I should try and meet Bairon someday, he seems to be a respectable person.

-So, I didn't push the subject any further..." Concluded the half elf.

-Which means that I'm still the only one you can ask advice from." I said in a resigned tone, as he nodded along.

Pressing my hand against my forehead, I knew I was back at square one. I had to find some advice to give him, somehow.

Okay, let's try to think of this as a logical problem. I know how the starting situation looks like, aka: the school setting, the student council president and Lucas. I also know what the final picture should look like: Lucas and the student council president going out together.

The question becomes, how do I get from that starting position to that desired outcome, preferably in the most optimal way? Maybe if I had an example to work with, I could try to apply it to the current situation?

Come Arthur, think, think. There must be someone I knew, some experience I had that could work as a good blueprint. Maybe from a conversation I had? A movie I saw? A book I read...? A... comic book?

Suddenly feeling memories flooded my mind, my eyes shot wide open as suddenly I had a flashback.
