-Why does love have to be this complicated?!" Screamed Hannadreda while throwing a pillow at the wall while I stared frozen in place both in disbelief and in utter confusion at what my reaction should be.

Seeing the dwarf girl's eyes finally land onto me while still pouting, I became even more conflicted on what to do now that my option to just run away from the scene had been nullified. Desperately trying to come up with something to say during the short few second after I was spotted and before she reacted, I only managed to let out a small: "hi" along with a faint, if awkward smile as I hesitantly waved my hand.

It took an additional half a second for her to get over the shock of seeing me here, at which point her face quickly cycled through all the emotion it should have displayed while she was frozen in place. From the surprise of seeing me, to the confusion of why I was here, followed by the realization that I had seen her roll around in her bed screaming, which naturally lead to panic closely tailed by shame and even more panic as her face turned bright red from embracement.

-I-it-it's not what you think!" She scrambled to explain as she sat up on her bed and started desperately waving her arms around to try and deflect my already firmly established conclusion. Then, in a rather surprising twist considering how hopeless her situation was, Hanna suddenly stopped throwing her arm around, sat with a straight back and a proper posture, fixed her now calm, laser focused eyes on me, before calmly and confidently joining her hand together and saying: "I can explain everything" in a firm and confident tone.

-Okay." I answered with a small node of my head before heading to my desk, where I placed down all the books and school utensil, I had used this morning in a clean and orderly fashion. Taking my time to be sure that all the pens were sorted by height and the crayons by color to form a small rainbow.

Once that was done, I turned back and sat on my bed, while still feeling the combined glare of Hanna from the opposite side of the room and from Sylv, who was nested on my head.

-So, what was this all about, then?" I quizzed with an open tone and a friendly smile as I mentally prepared to take notes on every detail she would give me. It was only my natural duty as her self-declared elder sister, mentor and probably parent figure to make to track down, hunt and forcibly dissuade the small bastard who was trying to lay a hand on her from doing so.

-I was simply venting out my build up frustration from having to help my friend in her love life while myself having very little experience in the subject." she explained in a very professional tone, following the advice I had given her in crisis and public relation management.

-Oh, and who might that friend be?" I quizzed while keeping my friendly facade while I considered that simply dissuading her pretender by threatening or black mailing him might not be enough. Maybe I could send them an express invitation to the nearest hospital's emergency department?

-I cannot disclose that information." She explained while shaking her head before crossing her arms.

-Then, if you're struggling that much with helping them, why don't you let them know that I'm willing to offer my extensive knowledge and experience on the subject?" I proposed while putting forth my expertise, hoping to get her to trust my romantic skills, although those might not be very developed considering that I have spent the last 20 years of my life running after a single person and failing at every turn.

But my repeated failure does not matter, she just needs to believe that I am experienced and trustworthy, the rest can be handled swiftly with my other, much more developed competence, like my swordsmanship, or my offensive magic.

-I wouldn't want to bother you with the love interest of someone you probably don't know." She answered, trying to close the conversations soon as possible.
