-Ready for todays training session ?" I asked Arthur with a wide, exited smile while stretching my limbs as I walked deeper in the underground training room Grandma Cynthia had lent us.

-As long as it doesn't end up with me wrapped in yet another coffin, I'm all for it." He answered with a slight smirk before turning toward me, his looks and expression still as attractive as ever while retaining a bit of his cute side, which only made me want to cuddle him even more.

-If you started helping me instead of being an idiot, then I'd have no reasons to put you in one." I reasoned with a slight scolding tone.

-Uh... and I thought that today would be fun..." He said while rolling his eyes.

-I'll ignore the implication that being around me isn't fun and simply ask if you are finally going to admit that I'm better than you." I asked with a smirk.

-You are stronger than me." He confirmed without a hint of hesitation, shame nor reluctance, which took me aback as I was expecting him to argue or answer ironically.

Could it be that he had finally come to see how cool and strong I really was, which would naturally lead his opinion of me to improve and intern have him fall in love with my brave, strong side? "In terms of pure mana output." He added as I saw my hopes crumble before me. "I'm better at everything else." He nonchalantly explained with a slight shrug of his shoulders.

-If you are that much better than me, would you mind giving me an example of how to better utilize my power to kick your ass?" I asked with a large, ominous smile.

-You can use every type of magic, right?" He quizzed rhetorically. "Elemental, long range, short range or internal? And yet you keep limiting yourself to traditional warfare tactics."

-Elaborate a bit more." I answer with a raised eyebrow, understanding his point, but knowing that it was far easier to say than to put it into practice. One would need to study, theorize and practice a lot before being able to implement a whole new strategy in their fight.

-One thing I have thought about, and which you have already implemented to some level, would be to combo multiple types of magic we don't usually see together in a single attack. Put a layer of metal on the ground and use it to discreetly pass electricity through it to surprise your enemy, hide some sharp rocks in your fireballs, create a wave of water, but make it boiling hot, apply gravity magic to the top of your spikes, why not use some other deviant magic like glass magic or those acid balls you keep throwing to surprise your enemy. Actually, you could put pillars of glass all around the arena and shatter them with sound magic from a distance, or form marge ice walls all around, slowly melt them to create a layer of water your enemy won't notice and use ice magic once more to get them stuck in place. Now that I think about it, if you can use every type of magic, can't you also use Nico's black flames, or his ability to create metal out of thin air? And if it's the case, can't you also use other types of magic we don't know about yet? Poison magic, blood magic, gas magic? Do you know if they exist? Have you even tried to cast any of them?" He said, visibly getting lost in his thoughts halfway through his explanation, as I stared with my eyes wide open.

-Uhm... no." I conceded, feeling kind of dumb for not trying more of those ideas, or even having them in the first place. "But most of those would only give a surprise factor or would require far too much training to actually pull off, while there are comparatively easier ways to achieve the same results."

-Fair, but even then, this shows that you haven't studied how far you can go with your powers." He answered while slowly walking around the training room. "But if you want to speak about something you already have a lot of training in and can't replace, why don't you explain to me what those invisible platforms you can conjure are and how they work?" He quizzed with a taunting smile and slight curiosity in his tone.
