*One year and 4 month's later*

Ashton's P.O.V

I walked out with Aaron, Mary, Tristan, Bella, Ram, and Addison to my side. We were all at the top of our classes while Ram taught one. It had become a routine to go to Faith and tell her everything. Then two months after the incident, I stopped. I stopped believing I would go down there one day and she would be awake. So since that day I have yet to step foot into her room. Cole still goes down there and sings to her, but otherwise her room stays shut.

We walked up to Angela who was our age but teacher of the assassin class. We were learning from everyone. Assassins, blocking witches, werewolves, and with Cole and Dylan we fought each other. All of my friends were at the top, but I was at the top of them; my Alpha strengths were finally showing through.

I was now allowed to go with the teachers to there private sessions. So far I had lost most of my fights but I was able to at least pin Ram and Haden, but Angela, dang that girl was fast and knew how to move. She always had me pinned in under a minute.

"Hey Angie, how is my favorite girlfriend doing," I hugged her. She punched me in the stomach knocking the air out of me.

"What was that for?"

She laughed, "For hugging me, and calling me you girlfriend."

"You are, are you not," I asked, Angie and me loved word play.

"Yes but you could say 'hi friend that is a girl'." I laughed but took my spot on the mat.

Luckily we finished early our practice early. I went inside to get me a drink and saw Cole with his guitar going to sing for Faith. Smiling towards him I went on with my day.

Cole and Dylan were not mad that I had stopped seeing their sister, but were kind of disappointed. We soon shrugged it off. Cole usually watched over Faith while Dylan, my Dad, Brian, Angela, Ram, Haden, and I worked on the fight tactics and how we should go at this.

This fight would not be long, if someone could kill Alex, otherwise we have no clue how long this will last. We have had many small fights through out the months but nothing big. Not very many injuries in our pack, but there were many deaths in his.

After my usual schedule I went back to my room upstairs. I now live here; I can't go back to the cabin were Faith once slept in that bed and once walked down the halls of. I walk into my room turned off the lights and went to bed.

Waking up to knocking running down the hallways at six in the morning is not a good thing. I through on my werewolf clothes not bother to put anything else I ran outside. I looked to my father, "What's going on?"

"Just another attack, I think we got it this time, don't worry be home soon." With out another word he left.

I sighed and walked up stairs, I was way to awake to go to bed, so I take a shower. By the time I am done showering and surfing the Internet I hear noise downstairs. I walk down stairs to find dad searching through the drawers.

"Hey Dad what's-" I try to finish but my dad cut me off.

"Can't talk son, James is hurt really bad." My dad runs out the door and to the pack hospital house. I follow my dad.

In a bed James is laying unconscious. My dad hands Tylenol to Brian. He has a black eye and cuts on his arms.

"What the hell happened," I asked. My dad looked at me.

"They had a larger group, and the rogue said the next will be the last of us. So we need to get everyone ready." I nodded and head back out of the hospital. My eyes carried over to Faith's closed door. This war is going to be more difficult then ever with out the warrior here, and it was my entire fault. Why did I have to scare her out of the house?
