You Can't Run From Your Destiny

Chapter Twenty Seven

Faith fell asleep laying on me.

Why was she second-guessing my love for her? She doesn't know how happy I am to be fully mated. Heck I had to walk out of the room and down to the kitchen just to jump up and down because I was excited like a three year old. When I walked back in the room her sadness hit me like a wall. I still don't feel like she understands that I love her that much.

My fingers found the ends of her tangled blonde hair and began to play with it. It put a smile to my face. Not that I am a creep, but the fact she is back in my arms. I love it. I'll stay up all night watching over her. My grip tightened, nobody will take you from me. After awhile I started thinking. Why come back now? Does she know how long she's been gone? What was it like when she was gone? These stupid questions started to fill my mind. It made me uneasy.

All of this had happened because Alex. He is nothing but a stupid werewolf or witch whatever he is. He's nothing without his training. Why did he have to hurt Faith?

I turn over causing Faith to shift in sleep. It made my heart swell when she snuggled closer into my back. My other arm loop around her causing both arms to circle her and our legs were tangled together. I inhaled her scent that was now mixed with mine. A smile crept onto my face. Alex will never get to her with out me in the way. With that I fell asleep.

I woke up at eight in the morning cause Faith tried to get out of my grip. I pulled her closer putting my face to her neck. Mumbling I asked, "And where do you think your going." She huffed, "I am trying to get dressed." I purposely let my hands roam her body. "Don't think you can hide this masterpiece from me," I whispered in her ear.

She shivered under my touch. She growled playfully. I tried to reach her mind but I was blocked out, but by her face I could tell she was thinking of something. She turned to face me. I loosened my grip.

Right when her face was facing mine she kissed me. I was easily turned on, and started to deepen the kiss. My hands roamed all over her body. We continued for about an hour before the both of us fell asleep through exhaustion.

When I woke I snuggled my face into Faith's neck. When I realized that Faith wasn't there I shot up. Rushing into underwear and shorts I rocketed out of the room. I didn't she her in the living room or kitchen. I felt a wave of relief hit me when I saw her outside. Watching her through the kitchen window, she was practicing her powers. Each amazed me.

The only thing is usually her powers consisted of energy, while these are actual powers. I walked outside being as quiet as I could. Wrapping my arms around her waist I kissed neck. She jumped, but in an instant relaxed in my touch. She leaned back into my chest and continued with her powers. It was quite shocking everything she had learned to accomplished while she has been dead.

"You scared me. I couldn't find you." She laughed, "I have to train and so do you, so go put a shirt on. When you are down we will leave." My shoulders drooped when I realized I had training. I walked away to go put a shirt on.

When I walked down stairs I heard familiar voices. Looking up I saw my friends with my mate. She sits on the counter laughing. All the girls and Aaron where laughing. My gaze turned to Tristan to find him red as a cherry. Walking over to my mate I rested in between her legs.

"About time," Aaron said still laughing. Faith started to play with my wet hair.

"We were just joking about completing the mating process."

I nodded, "Why is Tristan red in the face."

Aaron chuckled, and so did Faith, "We were talking about how Bella told him she was ready. He was in such a rush to get out of school when someone hit him with their car. The senior got out to check on him but Tristan said he had to go home and get ready." I laugh. How did I forget that?

"Well we need to head out," Faith says patting my shoulders. I locked my arms around her legs, and she wraps them around my waist. Her arms lay loosely over my shoulders, and we head out the door. We had just gotten out of the woods when Faith stiffened. With in a flash she jumped off my back and took off running into the house. I did the same.

Running into the living I heard crying. Looking towards the center I saw Faith and her brothers crying together. Holy crap I forgot to tell her brothers.

"I-I thought the both of you were dead," her crying became heavier. The brothers shushed her. I felt a pang of jealously run through my body but decided against any action. I thought if I did anything I would regret it.

Soon the three of them stopped crying, but then my parents entered the room. More tears were spilled. I can't believe I forgot to tell everyone she was back. My siblings came down all three of them jumping on top of Faith. She was full of laughter. We were having a great time. Every one started filing into the room to talk to Faith.

Angela, Haden, Ram, and Addison were the only recruits who had tears spill. Right towards the end Blake came running in. His eyes settled on Faith. We were all expecting him to go hug her, but we were wrong.

He opened his mouth, "They are here."
