"They are here."
Those three words made my heart skyrocket. I felt a little dizzy. Cole and Dylan caught my elbows and kept me from falling. I ran to Ashton and hugged him.
We walked to the war room together, preparing quickly for battle. All women were forced to stay behind. Expect for the ones who were recruits or were pack warriors.
I could tell Ashton wanted me to stay behind, but he and I knew I couldn't this was my destiny. And there is no running from your destiny. The sad part is when he went to get ready we set up the plan, and I prepared for my death. I wish I could run from my destiny, but that would have to many people hurt in the process.
I shifted into white wolf, and most followed my lead. Some stayed human with the witches and assassins. It saddened my that I barely had a chance to stay here with everyone before I had to die. Sadly long enough to set up the plan with Ashton's friends and family. I was to die on the battlefield and I would not take Ashton down with me. I pushed Sky harder. We ran until we reached the waterfall where Alex and his army were waiting.
"So I see you are still living, but not for long." Alex had a smug look on his face. The pack let out a growl. I shifted back. Sky put a warriors outfit. Tank top and tights both black and both were like a second skin, but comfortable, with combat boots. My hair was pulled out of my face; needless to say I looked intimidating. Alex flicked his hand, and they attacked. I took out most in the front, few slipping by. My powers had strengthened so I fought stronger than usual. The people behind me and I were a decoy while other sneaked behind and to the sides of Alex's army. The fight raged harder as the plan went in order.
I saw Michelangelo, Keegan, Grant, and four other by Alex. Taking out people who came any were near. They had to be the top warriors. I stalked to them taking out the four with ease.
Grant circled me. Every time he attacked was sloppy, but he was quick at recovery. A picture of Alex beating me flashed through my mind, and anger overwhelmed me. I focused it using fire. I hit Grant in the stomach. He screamed in pain. This sent joy throughout my body. Using my levitation, I focused on his head and snapped it as he fell clean to the ground.
Keegan and I stayed in hand on hand combat. He got good shot in winding me but nothing to shocking. He kicked me in the stomach causing me to crash to the ground. Stalking over to me he smiled, "Some warrior." He raised his fist up to give me the final blow to the head. Right as his hand rocketed towards my face I took my feet and kicked the out from under him. He fell to the ground. I put my leg around his neck, and twisted my body. I was satisfied when I heard a snap, and his body went limp.
Michelangelo came up to me grinning; his teeth were showing signs of rotting from all of the liquor he has consumed. My mind kept creeping back to memories of what a great Uncle he was, but I was so young to remember a lot about him before his wife's death. Michelangelo noticed my spaciousness and attacked. Sadly I was not able to dodge in time. His fist contacted with my jaw. I spit out blood and held my hand to my jaw.
"So the big bad warrior can't take a punch? Sad-sad," Michelangelo was family just not mine.
"You taught me at a young age what a punch was," I sneered at him as I popped my jaw back into place.
I could practically smell the alcohol still on him. "You want to know something? I think Rebecca killed herself cause she had a shitty mate like you, and I bet she never loved you, did she?" Anger flashed through Michelangelo's eyes. I dodged his punches left and right while talking, "She never loved you. You scared her. She didn't like to touch you. I bet she couldn't look at you." My uncle started to wear himself out. I pulled up a root out of the ground making him trip. He had no energy to get up. I went and kneeled in front of him. "You have never had anyone cause you chose this destiny, and it is mine to destroy you." Without another word I snapped his neck, and let his limp body fall to the ground. Walking towards Alex I could not help but feel my stomach flip at the sight of his smirk. I was going to die, but he would go down with me.
Alex was watching my every move. He shot out an energy bolt towards me. The energy was red signaling he was angry. I continued to dodge the bolts as I tried to find some one. My eyes landed on Tristan. He snapped a wolf's throat in between his teeth. His eyes locked on mine, I nodded. He howled and took off running. Everyone followed.
"Faith, why are they taking me away? What are you doing?" I heard Ashton ask through our link.
I sighed, "I am truly sorry, but it is my destiny."
I cut the link and sighed. I continued to dodge Alex's bolts. All had the color of red. Why was he so angry? I looked around me and saw about 15 wolves and about 20 humans. I started sending bolts their way. I was easy taking them out. There were about 5 left before Alex hit me in the stomach. I was flung into a tree. I felt myself land on my hand wrong. I continue to send bolts to the people around me until there was two left. They grabbed me by the hands. I screamed as pained seared through my arm. Alex smiled.
"So we see how this will end." He rubbed his hands together.
Pictures started to flow through my mind. You are to never use all emotions at once, or it is instant death to you and people around. My dad lying lifeless on the floor, Ashton and I under the waterfall, and Alex beating me, many more pictures flooded my mind. Causing my emotions go into overdrive. I felt power fueling me. Karl's teachings had told me never to use all emotions, but I felt as if right now he was agreeing with my choice.
Alex aligned himself in front of me. He conjured up a ball of red energy:
Smiling he asked, "Any last words."
I smiled and looked up at him, "Have fun in hell." When he saw my smile his eyes widen.
"No," was the last word he said before a purple ball started to build right in front of me. The guys let go of my hands. The ball shot out. As soon as it hit me I fell back nocking my head on the tree. My eyes started to close; I looked towards Alex dead body. He was dead, and my destiny was completed. I saw a bright light and shut my eyes forever.
