Chapter Twenty Five

Faith's P.O.V

When I awoke in the hospital. I had forgotten everything. Where I was. Who I was, and why the hell I was here. Then everything came flooding back to me. I quickly hopped up and ran out the door. I didn't look anywhere just ran.

I prayed that the recruits found their way back to Ashton's pack. It worried me just about where I am, but knowing the last person I was with I don't want to be any where I just was.

My wolf was of high alert and covered our tracks while I ran. I didn't know where I was going until I saw three large log cabins. A sigh of relief escaped my lips and I head into the log cabin. Here I was thinking that I had been in Alex's hold when really I had been here the whole time.

I remember everything that had happened since I had last been here, the party, my first shift, the yelling, the tears, and the drinks. I shiver at the thought. I had already forgiven Ashton for drinking. Thinking about it, it was probably very hard for him to comprehend the fact I was going to die. I wouldn't like it very much if I had a mate who I just met, has been in the hospital longer than we've known each other, and is about to die.

Putting my hand on the knob I slowly turned it. When I went inside four random people in the living room scared me. When I go to get better look I realized it was Aaron, Tristan, Mary, and Bella.

They were currently talking about Ashton's state. Evidentially he was not holding up well. I cursed myself for not turning around and reasoning with him that one night, but I was hurt and it was the past. I take a step forward into their view, and clear my throat. Their heads quickly snapped in my direction; eyes widened and jaws dropped.

"We-" Mary tried to say.

"Were," Bella spoke up.

"Uhh," Tristan mumbled.

"We were just at the hospital. Where did you, How did you? Huh," Aaron was the only one who could use more than one word.

"Look I am confused and have a pounding headache please help me." They quickly helped me to the couch and we began to talk. We spoke about Alex, the recruits, how long I have been out, what happened while I was out, Ashton, my training, and the video came up.

"We- um- we saw the video Faith," Mary said looking down. I sighed. "Is that what happened to you every night like you said?"

I looked up, "No just the whipping, stabbing and cutting. None of the water parts."

The girls' starts crying and hugged me while the boys were trying not to shift.

"They are mad Sky. Why?" This confused me.

"Because Alex tried to hurt their Luna. Their wolves are trying to get out and protect you. Plus you happen to be there best friend's mate, so put two and two together." She quickly shut up and went back to sleep. We continued to talk until I felt sleepiness take over.

"Hey you guys I'm going to bed." They nodded, and I walked up stairs. I could hear them whispering about Ashton, and I tried my best to listen in but I was too sleepy to try. As soon as I closed my eyes dreamland took over.

I had to go to sleep, but I couldn't seem to get over anything that had happened lately. Tossing and turning in the bed did me no good, cause face it I couldn't sleep that well at Alex's due to Ashton's lack of appearance. Getting up I realize it is just a waste of time and take a shower.

While I am in the shower, I think to what it must have been like with Ashton in here. Quickly I throw water in my face and revert my thoughts. I could believe I just though about that, but know that I think about it. I would rather go ahead and have sex with Ashton before my heat sets in. Drying off I rub the mirror clean, I throw on a pair of short and a lacy black bra. I mean is it bad for me to want to go ahead and have sex. The towel dries of my neck and I look into the mirror. There was no mark. I had rush into get marked but didn't regret it, and now my neck no longer had a mark due to Alex and Keegan. A deep growl erupts from the bottom of my throat.

I had just come out of the bathroom and there was a knock on the door, mentally groaning I trudged down the front stairs to answer it. Low and behold stood Bella and Mary with Bath and Body works bags.

"What is with the bags," my eyebrow was raised and my voice a little high pitched.

"Are you going to let us in so we can tell you," Bella nagged.

I reluctantly open the door and the girls skip inside. "Okay so tell me now."

Mary let out a breath; "We thought to trick Ashton into coming here. Technically the guys are going to go get him while we spray the house with various smells to help cover you scent now and old one. We need to hurry because we don't know when he will he will arrive." My eyes widened and I quickly agreed.

As the girls were spraying the house I went up stair to do something. I walk back into the shower, quickly used his shampoo, and washed it out. Stepping out of the shower I could smell the difference on me. I blow dried my hair in a hurry making it look wild and untamed; luckily as if I had been sleeping. I heard the front door open and the lovely sound of my mate voice. Rushing out of the bathroom I closed the door and jumped onto the bed, covering myself up. I know that your mate can pick out you scent among various scents, but luckily I had Sky block my scent while I was down there. Plus considering we weren't marked he couldn't sense me: hopefully.

I heard footsteps come up the stairs and the front door shut. I prepared myself, as I smelled Ashton at the door. I smiled when he opened the door. Sky stopped hiding my scent as he walked into the room. Peeking I saw him with his head down and heard a sniffle. 'Please,' I begged, 'look up.'

My eyes were squeezed shut as I heard something, or should I say some one fall to the ground. He put his weight on the edge of the bed and made his was to me. I could feel his eyes fixed on me, but I didn't make a move until he hugged me, then I reacted by hugging him so tightly because I too was scared. Scared that he would soon realize again that I would die and he would leave me.
