Chapter Thirty

Faith's P.O.V

"Please not again don't leave me."

It has been two days since that voice went off in my head. I had already drifted to far into the light.

They have given me my test already and today was my graduation of sorts. I walked up to Stan, the leader. He shook my hand and said how I showed great qualities. My eyes scanned along the crowd while he continued talking about me. I felt my heart leap when my eyes met with others.

After the ceremony, I ran up to my parents hugging them. "I've missed you so much!" They laugh and hug me. I have just been accepted to become a warrior angel.

"We are so proud of you." We heard a thump on microphone. My parents and I turned our heads. Selena was at the podium.

"So many of the top warriors have talked about Faith. She has showed extraordinary qualities. In fact we have decided..."

Ashton P.O.V

We were walking out of the hospital. It has been a week since the fight. Most of the recruiters went home to their packs while other stayed with us cause their pack had been burnt down. My dad was debating of when swearing me in, as Alpha should go, so we have that set up for tomorrow. My brother still no longer wants it. He likes the life as a regular wolf he says it is peaceful. Plus his mate is an omega who was abused by her pack so she would rather not be in the limelight.

We had many funerals we had to set up. At least 93 people died. The only people who were my friends were Angela and Haden. Ram and Addison had a hard time coping with the lost of them and Faith so we rarely saw them.

For me I still feel a little numb due to Faith's death, but I don't feel much pain. My friends and I walk to our cabins and spilt our ways. When I walked up stairs I could feel my breath hitch in my throat.

Putting my hand on the handle I go to turn it, but my gut tells not to. Instead I walk to the guest bedroom and go to sleep in there. Getting comfortable on the bed I put my hands behind my head and sit there.

I look to the clock. It is two o'clock in the morning and I have yet to go to sleep. I go to the closet and get dressed. Putting on a regular shorts and t-shirt I head out the door. I don't comprehend where I am going: I am mainly allowing Ace to guide me. When my feet stop I take in my surroundings.

'Why did you bring me here?' I ask Ace. Really I do not want to be here.

"I don't really know. I just followed my senses.' I scoff.

'Okay, why did they tell you to go here?' He sighed then replied, 'I sense peace here.' I scoff.

I walk into the cave part of the waterfall. I look to a rock I normally sit on when I come here. It is pretty much comfortable for it to be a rock. Lying down I look up to the ceiling. It glistens as if it were real stars. I remember how amazed Faith was while staring at them. I close my eyes think of Faith, and soon find myself drifting to sleep.

Faith's P.O.V

Really? I have to leave right now? My parents were here.

"Faith we both know this is better for you and them. Plus, you will have a brighter future," Selena had just announced were I was going. I knew the place yes and I knew the people there, but since I come up here I feel more at peace. Looking to my parents I could tell they were trying not to tear up. Their eyes held proudness, joy, and sorrow. We had just been reunited only to be torn apart again. They gave me a family hug before letting me go to follow Selena and Stan.
