Chapter 9

My hand was shaking, it was full of blood.

I looked at the cat, it was dead, I killed the cat.

" What did I do? " my voice trembled.

I ran quickly back to the hotel. Sa bilis ko nakarating na ako agad. Dumaan ako sa may terrace. Kung saan ako dumaan kanina.

After I entered. Napaupo na lamang ako sa sahig.

I also noticed that the white silk dress, I was wearing were stained with blood.

I got up and went to the bathroom, I washed my hands.  I immediately changed my clothes, now I feel like I have committed a crime tonight. Napatay ko yong pusa na walang kalaban-laban sa akin.

I went to where I put my ring earlier. Sh*t. Nawawala. Sigurado ako dito ko lang yon nilagay. I suddenly felt my eyes turned to red.

I breathed deeply.

" control eya.. control ,you dont know whats happening"   I calm myself down.

I looked for my cellphone, I need to call Jake.

I called jake.

Its ringing......

" it's already late, whats the prob? "  jake on the other line.

" I killed a cat "   I said breathlessly as my voice shook.

" What? You killed a cat? How? "  he asked confused.

" I sucked all the cat's blood"  I said trembled.

Jake answered me with silence.

" Shit Eya!!  What did I told you? Don't you ever take off your ring"  It's raf. Magkasama pala sila ngayon ni jake.

"  I'm confused! what's going on!?? I don't know what to do raf!!"  I screamed a little because my mind was a mess right now.

Maraming tanong sa isip ko.

"  why do I have fangs!?? why did I drink all the cat's blood earlier!!? What's happening!?? Tell meee... I'm scared.."  I sobbed.

Isa ba akong BAMPIRA!? Hell, No!!! It's not happening. Nananaginip lang ako.

" listen eya. Go find your ring now"   raf said seriously.

"  Sorry, I lost my ring.."  I sobbed and my voice trembled as I spoke.

"Shit eya, shit"  I could feel raf getting choked up with annoyance.

" raf kalma" rinig kong sabi ni jake.

" nandito lang yon, hindi ako pwede magkamali, dito ko lang nilagay yon"  Nagulo ko na lahat nang gamit na nakapatong sa table ko. .

Hindi ko parin mahanap. I also looked to see if it was under my bed. Pero bigo ako. Wala talaga.

"  what place is that in baguio,?" raf asked decisively.

" but raf, we still have business conferrence tommorow" 

Hindi ko na talaga ang gagawin ko.

" I don't care. I'll pick you up tomorrow morning. I'm leaving now."

Hindi ko na sya mapipigilan. Kilala ko si raf. If he said. He will.

"Jake stay here." Rinig kong sabi nya kay jake.

" tell Eya, that don't hang up the call" pahabol nito.

I am sobbing right now. Dinig na dinig ko pag andar nang kotse ni raf.

" eyaa"   jake called me softly.

Im still sobbing.

" Im sorry eya,  Wala ako jan sa tabi mo"  Jake spoke worriedly.

" Bakit ba kailangan ko nang singsing? Jake tell me the truth. AM I A VAMPIRE? "  may diin kong sabi, Still my voice is shaking.

" It's not right for us to talk about that now eya, I'm sorry."  I was disappointed by what he said.

I seem to have anger in my heart now. Why did they hide it from me!?

I'm still lying on the floor.
Sumandal ako sa gilid nang kama ko.

" eya... are you there??"  Hindi ko sya pinansin.

I can feel my eyes getting hot, little by little, I feel that my eyes color is no longer normal.

I guess, It has turned red.

" eya, do you still remember the bottle that raf gave you? drink a little, it will help you while your ring is still missing."  I immediately look for the bottle. Agad ko naman itong nakita.

I drank it right away.

"I'm done drinking "  I said reluctantly.

I feel better now. Hindi na ako masyado nakakaramdam ng uhaw. Unlike a minutes ago.

"  I want to rest first. I don't want to talk to anyone. I need space."  I said coldly

I hung up the call.

I walked to the terrace, I closed the door on the terrace that connects to my room.

Bumalik ako sa higaan ko. 

I lay down on my bed...
