"Hello bitch! You're late!"
She heard her best friend as soon as she entered the college. It was their habit of waiting for each other at the entrance of the college.
"You know the dramas in my life."
Prisha rolled her eyes. She had given her a vivid account of the thriller movie her life was becoming slowly. A stalker. An actual one. Not one like Zade Meadows.
"Who's this hottie by the way?"
Rishi heard her friend whisper not to slowly while eyeing him. He was known to females giving him attention until they knew he was a mere bodyguard.
"That's my bodyguard."
Prisha replied and her bestfriend, Saira gasped.
"I also want a bodyguard now."
Prisha rolled her eyes as she saw Saira giving love eyes to Rishi.
"What? Sirf tu life ka full fun legi kya? You get to have a stalker. And now you have such a hot bodyguard. I also want one."
Prisha rolled her eyes again.
"Babe! That stalker is not Zade jo tu khush ho rhi hai. It's an actual stalker who is sent to kill me. And jis bodyguard par tu fidda ho rhi hai he hasn't spoken 20 words in 2 hours. Matlab meri awaz itni sexy ho toh mai toh chup hi na hou. Lekin ye bolta hi nhi hai."
Rishi looked at the girls in amusement. Wow! They were talking about him as if he wasn't present.
The next day, Prisha was looking for her father in his study. She entered the room bouncing happily.
"Papa-"
She stopped short seeing the room empty and walked near his desk.
"Office chale gye kya?"
She mumbled to herself and her gaze fell on the file kept on the desk. Some paper was peeking out of it. She opened the file to put it properly when he saw what the paper was.
Some Rishi Verma's resume. Wait! Rishi Verma? That's her bodyguard.
She started reading his resume.
He is 27 years old. 3 years elder to me. Not bad! Wtf? Not bad? What's not bad? She shook her head at her stupid thought and read further.
Wait! His previous job was with the Shekhawats? The Shekhawats were her father's business partners. They were very reputed people. Then why did he leave their job to work at her place?
When they were in the car while driving to her college Prisha couldn't keep her question in anymore.
"Hey Rishi? You worked with the Shekhawats isse pehle? Toh wo job kyu chhodi?"
She saw him visibly stiffen. Did she ask something wrong? She waited for an answer but he didn't say a word. It was as if he hadn't heard her. But he had. She had seen his reaction so she didn't bother. But what must have happened.
Rishi didn't know whether he should answer her question or how he should answer her at all.
It had been close to a month since Rishi had been appointed as Prisha's bodyguard. She was a tough client to protect. Very unpredictable and smart. Just like her father. And she was nothing like his other clients.
All of them treated him as if he was something inferior to them. But she, she looked at him as if he was so much more. She gave a good boost to his ego and really amused him with her self talks.
Rishi was asked to shift to their place because of Prisha's 1 am cravings. Just like he said, she was very unpredictable.
"Tum aaram se so skte ho aaj. I'm too tired and sleepy to go anywhere. Good night."
