Him and Makoto have an deep heart to heart about each other. Makoto asks who he misses the most. Of course Ryu can only think of one person he dears most.
Ryu has times to himself where he hallucinates a lot about, mostly about his mom. When hes very stressed, he goes to his room and lays on the floor imaging his mother lap as she comforts him like an kid. Cause after all.. he's still an kid at heart.
He's her son.

Lola may of peeked at Ryu's lifespan when he was an toddler, and when she saw it she immediately couldn't hold herself together. She had to excuse her and go to her room, just to break down. She didn't wanna believe it.
(Also added some features in the picture, such as the white light symbolizing how Ryu sees his mother as "his light." and peace. Also added highlights to Ryu's eyes to give him an sort of "puppy dog" in reminder that hes still an little kid.)
