"Claudia try this too!!" Lily pushed Claudia to a plate of strawberry-covered chocolates.

"T-this is a bit too much Lily..." Claudia responded a bit unsure what to do with the plates she was holding.

"Hah? Would you look at this" A cruel mocking tone echoed behind the two.

Claudia froze up, she knew this voice a little too well...it was her previous master.

Lily turned around to greet who it was, but Claudia remained frozen

"Are you not even gonna greet me?" The mocking voice continued, Lily turned to Claudia, confused at her reaction, usually, it was Claudia who jumped straight into formalities.

Slowly Claudia turned around, avoiding her eyes, as she curtsied.

"Greetings, Lady Rose" Claudia greeted, her body looked tense, but she managed to greet Beatrice without her voice trembling.

"Ha? So, in the end, you'll greet me, why make me wait?" Beatrice asked, her mocking tone continued.

"I see you are on a date?" Beatrice looked over at Lily who seemed oblivious and lost at what was happening.

"I-it's not like that!" Claudia said instantly, her voice raised a bit.

"How dare you raise your voice! The only way you got a job is because of me, what if I out your secret, huh?" Beatrice yelled, the other people at the tea party were now curious.

"You ungrateful brat!" Beatrice raised her hand, ready to strike Claudia, she braced herself for the impact closing her eyes, she had experienced this countless times before so this wouldn't be too different.

But, the strike never came.

"I'd appreciate it if you'd leave my ladies in waiting alone," Aderi said coldly, her grip on Beatrice's wrist was tight.

"Let me go!" Beatrice turned to Aderi with a glare of her own as she tried freeing herself from Aderi's strong grip.

"If my ladies-in-waiting wronged you, I'd appreciate it if you had told me first instead of taking matters into your own hands, I am their master so I'll be the one to carry out their punishments" Aderi let go of her wrist, she turned to Claudia and Lily.

"Are you two alright?" Aderi's coldness in her voice quickly melted away as soon as she turned to Lily and Claudia.

"M'lady..." Lily called out a bit terrified at the situation.

"Come, let's leave this area, you two just come and sit at our table" Aderi ordered as she started walking.

Lily took the food she had gathered and followed Aderi, she turned to Claudia who still seemed frozen.

"Claudia, let's go" Lily took Claudia's hand, and the contact made her come back to reality, she nodded and the two of them followed Aderi.

"Come you two, sit down" Aderi ordered, the two sat down on the chairs Aderi gestured at.

"Oh gosh, is everything alright m'lady?" Cosette asked concerned, it was her tea party after all, and Aderi was a high-profile guest of hers, displeasing Aderi was not something she wanted right now.

"A commotion occurred, I do not know what happened" Aderi responded crossing her arms over her chest as her gaze fell on Claudia and Lily.

"M'lady! Claudia did not do anything, I swear!" Lily stood up from her chair, she was quick to defend Claudia.

"Now, Now, I am not blaming you two, I'll talk to you both once we are in the manor, I'll handle this situation accordingly"

"Wow, her ladyship is truly amazing" Cosette's eyes sparkled, and Aderi turned to Cosette.
