Chapter 1.

It might be weird to ask this question... but what do you think about those Adventure Fantasy stories?

Taking your first steps into the outside world, encountering Monsters and defeating them, finding new people to join your Party and conquering Dungeons, growing stronger and stronger until you finally defeat that one, true evil at the end and accomplishing world peace. 

Even when you are just sitting on your chair and reading it, you can feel like you are actively exploring the fake yet immersive fiction world.

...obviously, being immersed in it and actually living it out are two different things.

[You can vaguely feel someone watching you]

"...damn it... what kind of game is this!?"

The moment I entered the game, a bizarre popup appeared in front of me with hazy yet ominous lines. 

I thought I was merely imagining things at first, but as more popups appeared until the last one, I could feel a cold chill running on my back... and a bizarre sense of urgency to run away.

Even though I could not see anything aside from the darkness, I ended up running straight for more than five minutes.

"-!?"

As I continued to run, my feet got caught in some kind of overgrown roots, tripping me down. I managed to protect my face from slamming headfirst to the ground, but it still felt painful.

[You fell. HP -1]

[The distance between you and Causality Rectifier have decreased]

"DAMN-! WHY DOES THAT SOUND OMINOUS!?!?"

[Player is advised to hurry and stand up. Getting caught by Causality Rectifier will prevent you from logging in]

"God damn it-!!"

I just bought this game today, and I'm going to die just few minutes after logging in? And this pathetically!?

[Pointing the character to his supposed destination]

Amidst the encompassing darkness, a blurry blue line... a thinly shaped arrow appeared in front of me. While it was still hard to see, it continued to blink as if trying to get my attention.

I tried to stand and managed to dislodge my foot out from the overgrown roots, but then I heard the sound of something getting ripped from around my foot.

[0 Durability will forcefully unequip and destroy your Equipment]

[When Lower Armor (Normal Pants) is destroyed, your defense will drop by 0]

"ISN'T THAT KIND OF OBVIOUS!?"

[Causality Rectifier is getting closer]

"Are you being serious-!?"

After making sure I moved my feet past the still unseen obstacle, I resumed my run while following the vaguely blinking arrow. I also made sure to pay attention to the changes in the arrow, as it could signify some kind of trap that would hinder my path.
