Chapter 147.

Just in case the next Area would be another forced fight situation, I decided to [Heal] myself to full health first before moving to the next Area. The familiar distortion soon stopped, and I found myself standing on yet another empty sandy plain... or so I thought.

"...wait, isn't that..."

The sandy plain part was technically correct and the appearance of several system windows appearing in front of me and blocking my view was definitely unexpected. But my attention was fixated on the appearance of an unexpected yellow wall that appeared in front of me.

"...isn't this that Bounty area thing from the current Event!? It can even invade Dungeons like this!?!?"

"No, that's not what I..."

I quickly suppressed my retort as I tried to calm down and looked at my surroundings. Inadvertently, my eyes fell on the system window that had appeared earlier

...for a hint that was supposed to be 'Superior', this was nothing more than a cliffhanger without any relevant information. I tried dismissing the system windows and looked around the area, but I could not find anything else that stood out aside from this bizarre yellow wall that seemed to stretch endlessly.

The thought of going past this challenge crossed my mind, but the direction I should be moving towards was blocked by this wall, so I definitely had to participate in this challenge. I hoped to at least know what I was getting into, but the minimap did not display anything aside from me inside an empty room.

"...I guess there is no other choice."

Heaving a sigh, I walked forward and touched the yellow wall. In the next moment, I felt a familiar sensation of my body being [Teleport]ed somewhere and I arrived... surprisingly, in a different empty space.

"...huh..."

Looking around, I realized that while there really was nothing around me, the ground I was standing on what seemed to be a large white square tile. It was large enough that even as I stretched my arms wide, my body was still within this white tile. The tiles adjacent to my position were black colored ones and had the same large size, while the ones located diagonally were white.

The alternating black and white tiles made me think of a certain board game, but my thoughts were soon disrupted by the appearance of the usual system window.

As much as this looked completely absurd... there did not seem to be any further system window that appeared. Choosing an option here was definitely something that had to be done.
