[Urgent Quest: Forced Test]
[Chekat had always been looking for someone worthy to be taught]
[Unfortunately, no ordinary people came close to his standard, while Adventurers, though they were definitely stronger than him, still did not feel enough for him]
[In the end, he decided to test anyone who wanted to receive his teachings to determine whether the said person was at least up to his standards]
[Until now, not a single person had been able to receive his direct teaching]
[Prove yourself and become his first direct disciple!]
[Quest Objective: Finish the Dungeon: [Chekat's Trial] without dying even once]
[Quest Reward: Surpassing The Limits of A Mage 1]
[This Quest is Automatically Accepted, and will immediately fail if the Character Dies]
"...so this is just a simple test, then?"
I felt a slight relief after reading the whole thing...
[Hell Difficulty Player Detected]
[Adjusting Enemy Level accordingly to the Character's Level]
[Adjusting Enemy Amount accordingly to the Character's Level]
...unfortunately, the relief was completely temporary, as the next system message quickly erased that.
"...I really thought it was not going to appear again..."
I already thought that this might be an easy trial with my boosted status and busted equipment for my current character, but the 'adjustment' might have invalidated those advantages of mine.
Fortunately, I seemed to be in a starting area of nothingness aside from the sandy plains, but I had a feeling that I might fight some insanely hard enemies when I moved to the next room.
"...what should I do..."
{Is there even anything else you can do aside from just get going?}
".........well, THANK YOU for that..." I scratched my head in slight annoyance as my eyes wandered to the corner of my vision. "...but I think I should really, REALLY prepare myself just in case."
I took out my Gauntlets and fit them into my fists. I tried taking out the Spear and attempted to use it along with my Gauntlet, but a system message appeared, telling me that I could not wield two weapons at the same time.
In the end, I decided to keep the Gauntlets and sat down, waiting for my HP and MP to fill up to the maximum.
{If you are not going to do anything, then can you tell me about what you just did?}
"......are you talking about me taking out the Gauntlets and-"
{I'm talking about how you fight the Sandworms!}
Although I could not see her expression behind her thorny message window, the way it suddenly approached my face and hung really close made me think of a small child who was begging for an interesting toy from her parents.
{Not only I have never seen anyone doing something like what you had done, I never expected such a flawless performance as well!}
{You may be just an ordinary man, but maybe you have dabbled in some kind of arcane arts in the past and capable of doing it here as well!?}
