As she passed the last cubicle, she could see a wizard standing in front of the door with his hand raised to knock. But it was merely frozen, not moving. His head was bowed down lightly and his back was tense against his suit. He looked incredibly uncomfortable.

But mustering courage or willpower, he did.

And then a voice behind it snapped, "Come in."

The wizard opened the door and she could see Ominis stiffen as he stood up. But with his wand held out in front of him, the red pulsing light casting a haunting glow on his face-she could see a myriad of expressions cross his face.

Shock. Anger. Surprise. Doubt. Suspicion. More anger. More surprise. Elation. Excitement.

"You came."

The wizard in front of her, still not realizing that Ominis had sensed her presence by the door, said, "Yes, well-"

"Not you, tosser." Ominis snipped in a curt tone before it softened slightly, "Honeybea. Come in."

Finally seeing his face as he turned around, Beatrice realized a bit surprised that she knew this man. It was the same one from the train station.

The Scottish Professor.

Magizoology Tip #6

Never provoke an angry Graphorn. Even if said Graphorn is in reality, a six foot, broad Scottish man who clearly detests Ominis Gaunt.

"It's you."

Ominis' eyebrows furrowed, setting down his wand on the black mahogany desk. "Sebastian, you know Beatrice?"

Sebastian blinked, realizing Beatrice and Ominis knew each other in some capacity. Very quickly, the sunshine man she knew now had a wall in front of him. Metaphorical of course, but he didn't look at her with placid interest anymore, and instead discontent. As if she was no no longer someone he wanted to interact with more than he had to.

"Perhaps." He remarked coyly, only to get on the other man's nerves. "Did you receive my owl?"

Ominis shook his head, "I kept the window closed. It kept pecking for a half hour until it gave up."

"You arsehole." Sebastian grumbled, "It's about Hogwarts. There's a Sabertooth Wampus on the loose, the students are practically on lockdown-they're considering halting the school year because of it if we can't find the damned thing and kill it."

Beatrice frowned, "Why on Earth would you kill the creature?"

"Because it's a threat to my students." Sebastian seethed, casting a sharp sideways glare in her direction.

She was completely unbothered. Glares were as familiar to her as breathing. "You have the potential to be a threat too, but we're not putting you down."

Ominis snorted inwardly, "Someone ought to."

Ignoring him, Sebastian continued, "I'm not running around the halls, looking for my next meal. The blasted thing should be extinct already and I'm here to correct that deficiency." An annoyed huff of air escaped him, "I already hear about this from Poppy, I don't need to hear it from some stranger. Why don't you go back to America? I'll buy the damned portkey myself."
