"Are you alright?"
"Do I look alright?"
Beatrice smiled demurely, "A little less than suitable, but I'm sure you'll find a loving wife one day. If one is desperate enough."
Prewett's eyes hardened, "You're no better than them."
"I'll take that as a compliment." She countered, "Do you need to use the restroom? Dinner will be cooking shortly, I'm sure you're hungry."
"That fish?" He scoffed, "I hate fish. I don't want it."
"Then starve." Beatrice shrugged her shoulders, not feeling guilty about the harsh nonchalance, "I'm not going to persuade you to eat."
Shrugging her shoulders caused the light from her wand to move. It caused something nearby to shine when before it'd been hidden. The two glowing reflections reminded her much like cat eyes in the dark. However, this eyeball was half the size of her and when it lifted its head-it was clearly almost triple her height.
When the creature opened its mouth, she saw rows and rows of teeth that were the size of her forearm. Bloodstained and if she looked hard enough with the light; she thought she could see entrails of another reptile dangling
Her heart lurched in her chest. So she did what a jobberknoll did when it knew death was approaching.
She screamed.
Magizoology Tip #15
If it looks like a dinosaur, roars like a dinosaur, and chases a beautiful witch with a cheeky tongue... It's probably a dinosaur.
Sebastian
Ominis sat in one of the chairs, uncharacteristically exhausted and in disarray. Being disheveled was subtle for him. His neat part had a few wisps falling over his forehead and the tie around his neck was loosened. "Someone had to do the hard work while you played in the water. This heat is dreadful."
"I told Beatrice the same. I'm guessing you're hungry?" He placed the fish down by the chimney, casting a sideways glance to the witch by the doorway.
She grimaced, "I didn't think to make cups." His eyes narrowed as a certain gleam formed over those pretty irises of hers, "But I supposed I don't have to worry since it's not the first time you both have swapped spit."
Humor lit up her face while Sebastian's grew dark with anticipation. As he predicted, Ominis' face turned towards him with indignation written all over his face, "What in Salazar's name have you been telling her?!"
"I'm going to go check on Prewett since it's obvious you both won't." Beatrice mused, catching his glare which made a smile slip onto her lips.
If she kept smiling at him like that, he was going to ravish her. Ominis present or not present, it didn't matter. He didn't mind an audience from time to time.
"I liked you better when you were quiet." Sebastian hissed, though his tone was light to let her know he didn't give two bollocks that she'd snitched on him.
Of all the things he'd done, kissing Ominis hadn't been a mistake and neither was telling Beatrice about it. Her face hadn't shown any signs of disgust, but another emotion that had his cock twitching in his trousers. It'd been interest.
