Chapter 10: An agreement?

Sophie's POV
Her daughter's mind was broken those words repeated in her head. It was the morning she was going to see her unconscious daughter and see had badly broken her mind was. She got up out of bed and put on a green cape with emerald embroidery, simple black dress with gold embroidery, Vacker crest, black heals, a low pony tail amd a little bit of makeup. She went down to the kitchen she found Fitz making breakfast. He was wearing a green cape, Vacker crest, black tunic, black pants, a black belt with gold patterns and black boots. He looked up.
"You look good"
"You to"

"Here I might not be as good as Edaline at cooking but I made some blitz berry muffins" he handed her a plate her face brightened.
"Thank you so much Fitzy -poo"he scowled at the nickname. She devoured the muffins in under 5 minutes.
"Shall we go" he held out his arm she nodded and took his arm and they walked to the leapmaster 500 and they yelled
"Enternalia" they stepped into the light and they walked over to Ora's house and knocked. Oralie opened the door her eyes were burning red she looked like she had been crying for hours. She pulled Ora into a hug she released her mum and they walked up the stairs to Phoenix's room. They walked into the room Ro was in the corner with tears falling down her face. Where was Cam and Charlie they were supposed to be with Phoenix at all times.
"Where's Cam and Charlie" she asked Ro shrugged. Sophie looked at Phoenix lying on the bed she looked so peaceful with her hands on her tummy her hair was in 2 braids her hair was so long. she went over and sat down on the bed next to Phoenix she brushed her hands over her cheeks. They were so cold so fragile she started to cry, strong hands pulled her into a hug it was Fitz she cried into his shoulder. She looked up at Oralie, she was calling someone probably Elwin.
"Elwin's going to be here in a minute and then the councillors should be here in about 10 minutes"

Elwin entered the room and went over to Phoenix and flashed orbs around her and then went took a seat on Phoenix's study chair at her desk. Oralie went down stairs 5 minutes later and came back with the rest of the council. Bronte looked pale and the rest of them, she couldn't tell what they were thinking or felt. Emery the spokesman for the council started speaking.
"Sophie have you checked her mind yet" she shook her head.
"And she shouldn't Phoenix's mind is 10 times stronger than Sophie's even with Fitz she would get lost" Elwin said
"Then what are we going to do with her"
"We'll figure out a way to light leap her home I can give you a nexus but other people will have to wrap some concentration around her and knowing her, she'll probably fade a little bit and I can call Tiergan and he can help Sophie with making her mind stronger" Elwin said fear tearing through his voice "it's the only option we have".

Emery nodded which literally never happened getting him to agree with anything. She looked out the window, it was a nice view of the river across from the councillors castles lined with the trees called Pures. She had learnt about them when she was talking with Alden when she bottled Elementine an unmapped star and she had had to go to a tribunal. Sophie looked back up all the councillors except Bronte and Oralie had left. There was a knock on the door downstairs it was pretty loud no wonder Oralie always opened the door so quickly. Bronte went down and then he came back up with. Kenric behind him.
"Aren't you supposed to be dead, I am so confused"
"I never died Soph the Neverseen took me captive they put me in a cell in the basement and Jolie was there to"
"No no no my whole life is a lie" she ran out of the room Fitz didn't even have time to grab her. She opened the front door and slammed it shut and sprinted towards the river and pictured the beach that Silveny had given birth on. There was a massive crack and she looked at the waves it was so calm here. She went and walked for a little bit along the beach. She put up her mental blocking in her mind so no one except the alicorns could transmit to her. She sat down on the sand and just played with it. She sat there until the sun started to set just then she felt a hand on her shoulder she looked to her side there standing there was...

Queen Nubiti her former bodyguard.

"Hello Sophie it's been so long" she engulfed her into a hug. Sophie smiled.
"It's good to see you to Queen Nubiti"
"No need for the title of Queen I'm not that special"
"Sure about that"
"100 percent"
"What are you doing here"
"Running away from elves because I've just been told pretty much that what happened in Enterlia that Kenric never died. And Phoenix was the one that found him but would have had to brake a million rules to do it and now her mind is broken" she whispered the last part.

"I'm so sorry Sophie"
"It's not your fault. Now they're probably searching for me, just like they did to Phoenix. They were going to put her in Exile, now I have to fix her mind"
"What are you even doing here Nubiti"
"I was talking to some of the guards in the lost cites just checking with them if everything was all good and I was on my way home when I felt a familiar feeling and I noticed it was you so I came up" Sophie nodded
