I'm going to write this chapter while my sister comforts her dog that broke her toe some how like 20 minutes ago and it's like 11pm, so yeah.

It had been 2 weeks since the death of Phoenix...

Sophie's POV
She was by herself in Phoenix's room sitting on her bed rocking back and forth sobbing. Her only daughter was killed by someone who she still didn't know the name of. She wanted them dead, to be only left as ashes, she didn't care what they did as long as they were dead it would be fine. Phoenix surely couldn't be dead maybe she was just faking it maybe she would return from the dead like last time. She looked at her green jumper twisting the drawstring cords around her fingers. She was also wearing tight black pants , dark green cape and dark green socks.

She got up walking out of the room and downstairs to the entrance hall, she opened the massive front doors and grabbed some black shoes and chucked them on before grabbing out her light leaper and leaping to Enterlia using an obscurer to hide herself

She got up walking out of the room and downstairs to the entrance hall, she opened the massive front doors and grabbed some black shoes and chucked them on before grabbing out her light leaper and leaping to Enterlia using an obscurer to hide herself. The goblins noticed that is was her, allowing her to enter the seat of eminence. She turned the obscurer off as soon as the doors closed behind her wiping the tears off of her face. She walked and walked until she entered the councillor meeting room manly only used for the council but they had stated it was a special occasion. It was more than just a normal room it had a massive glass dome ceiling and white marble walls with grand arched windows, the floor was made of Brazilian cherry wood, the door was a black Roman one.

The 11 of them were waiting in their chairs in absolute silence as she curtsied . She sat down in a black chair that they had replaced from Phoenix's chair that was right in the middle of Oralie's and Bronte's chairs . (If you care Phoenix's throne in the tribunal hall was going to be, a flaming red colour with orangey red tucked behind wings).

"It's good to see you at last" Kenric said
"It was difficult" she replied
"Well shall we get onto why we've called you here" she nodded and he continued
"Force 3 are ready to fight and are ready to win this battle, we need to get the upper hand and win it"
"And how are we exactly going to do this?"
"Well you see we have Rayni Aria in Force 3 and she still works for us and as I hear she's very high ranked"
"But no one's been able to contact her for ages" she said remembering what Tam had told her like 1 month ago
"That's where you come in, you see I don't think Phoenix was actually killed I believe it was a set up. Trying to make us believe that she was dead to make us weak. Tell me if my memory fails me but remember Alden saying 'she likes to play dead' and that is her signature illusion, pretending something's real when it really just an illusion. I believe they have captured her and made her do it"

"How could you say that, you watched her sacrifice her life for others. How could an illusion stop a bullet" she looked at him with glassy eyes
"I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions" Kenric said quietly as he looked away. Sophie got up but before she leaved she turned back to face the council.
"Does anybody know what her last words were"
"They were 'I'm sorry" but she never said what about but I think we guess what they were going to be" Oralie said in her soft voice. Sophie knew exactly what it was going to be if she had the time and they would have been 'I'm sorry about everything'. She walked out the door but her emotions took over she sat down curling into a ball, she sat in the dark black hall leaning against the wall as hot boiling tears streamed down her pale face. Arms wrapped around her pulling her into a hug, she looked up through her mother's blonde ringlets into her azure eyes. Her circlet wasn't on head which was strange.
"It's not your fault you know" Oralie said after a bit sitting next to her
"I know"
"What Mr Forkle did to her, your mind was twisted, you weren't given a choice of what he did to her"
"I'm her mother and I failed the only thing that matted, our only hope is now dead because of me" Oralie looked away noticing that it was kind of true.
