Chapter 2: The Meeting

Phoenix POV

Phoenix woke up to someone shaking her it was Camila
" Cam what's the time"
"it's 8am"
"alright I'll get up but only if we can go for a morning swim at the castle"
"yeah alright go get ready meet you in the kitchen in 10" and then Cam left and she looked around it looked like Charlie had gone outside or downstairs. She quickly got a red 1 piece swimsuit on and went down to the kitchen Cam was standing there waiting
" I don't feel like going swimming today I'll just watch today and Charlie is with the Ruewans" 
"ok let's go" and then she grabbed her crystal that went to her castle and they leaped there and then headed for the pool

1 hour later after swimming for 30 minutes and going back home to get ready

She decided to wear a black tunic, black flares, green converses, her silver cloak and her Phoenix pin and did some quick braids and left Cam was staying at home because she couldn't come to the seat of eminence. Then she teleported to Oralie's when got there she nocked and with in an instant Ora opened the door then looked her up and down.
" what's with the green" she had totally forgotten about green been the symbol of life and wearing it meant loss of a person or animal. So she just shrugged and they went in they chatted for a while and had some lunch and then left at 1pm and arrived at the seat of eminence but when they entered they didn't go to Oralie's office which she found strange they ended up going down to Alina's office and Ora opened the door Alina was sitting at her desk and didn't even look up at them.
" Phoenix you are to stay with Alina until I come and get you, ok"
"alright" with that Oralie left.
Ten minutes after Ora had left anger started to boil in Phoenix's head Oralie had left her with her most hatted person, her worst nightmare . Alina looked up at her
" is everything ok" she asked with a concerned face. But to Phoenix's mind this was even more annoying she clicked her fingers she had dagger in her hand
"Phoenix what are you doing" those were Alina's last words Phoenix had killed her Alina now lay dead in her seat blood all around her blood on Phoenix's hands she had stabbed Alina's heart. Just then she heard the door open behind her.

Oralie's Pov
Oralie opened up Alina's office door" Phoenix It's time to" Oralie starred at the body in front of Phoenix
" I didn't mean to my emotions took over" Oralie and Bronte tried to figure out how she had done it, she had killed ..."Alina " they said at the same time but she kept talking
" you killed Alina but why" Phoenix was sobbing
"I was angry at you because you left me with her and than she had looked up at me and said 'is everything ok' and then i clicked my fingers before my mind could figure out what I was doing and I had congered a dagger and then she said 'Phoenix what are you doing' she said it with a lot of concern and those where here last words because I stabbed the dagger into her heart" Phoenix was now curled up in a ball on the floor sobbing. Oralie bent down and picked her up
"Bronte can you hail Emery, I'm taking Phoenix to Elwin because he'll probably want to see her"
"of course I'll talk to you later" and with that Oralie still holding Phoenix in her arms grabbed her light leaping crystal and leaped to Foxfire it was a Tuesday the halls were busy with kids, Phoenix had had the day off because of her meeting with the council. At the sight of a councillor all the kids made a path and just stared at Phoenix cradled in her arms in the mix of students she saw Max, Biana and Tam's son.
"Hey Max" Max ran over and she whispered to him " Can you go to the healing centre and tell Elwin that Phoenix is not well and to get ready for her arrival and I will give you a council stamped letter to your teacher explaining why you where late"
"I'll go straight away" he replied
"thank you "
" anything for my fearless cousin"
" i'm afraid she's not going to be that fearless today" (Phoenix was still crying in her arms)he nodded and ran of to the healing centre on the other side of the school.

She arrived 5 minutes later Elwin, Magnet Leto and Max where waiting for her they looked anxious she set Phoenix down on the bed with her and her mums picture hanging on the wall above it. Elwin started flashing orbs around her. Oralie quickly gave the letter to Max and he left Magnet Leto was the first to speak.
" what happened to her she looks like she lost a fight to a tsunami" she led him over to one of the other beds
" she ,well we went to the seat of eminence and I had classified things I had to work on so as me and Alina had planned I would hand Phoenix over to her for a little while until the meeting because Bronte also couldn't look after her because he had to have a chat to Terik so we went to the seat of eminence and I dropped her off with Alina and then 30 minutes later I go back to take her to the meeting but before I leave Bronte entered and I told him that I had to go take her so he came along and as I open the door and say 'Phoenix it's Time to go-'and I just see Alina in her chair with a dagger in her heart and then Phoenix started crying and saying ' I didn't mean it my emotions took over' and then me and Bronte were trying to figure out how she did it" and then she recounted the All the things Phoenix had told them.

Magnet Leto's POV

He stood there stunned it had taken Oralie 20 minutes to recount the whole thing the only words were
"she killed a councillor surely she's going to be exiled"
"I don't think they will ,they're going to want her power". They walked back over to Phoenix's bed, Elwin sighed
"she's going to be fine she's just sleeping what happened anyway" him and Oralie shared a nervous glance and than Oralie recounted everything again Elwin looked like he wanted to faint by the end of it.

"she really killed a councillor"
"I really did you want to see my memories" Phoenix was awake but looked drowsy
"you need sleep and If you don't well I'll have to call Camila and Ro and they won't be happy with you" Elwin sternly said. On having to Call Cam and Ro she was burrowing herself into more fluffy blankets that she had just conjured up and with in 2 minutes she was fast asleep. Elwin looked satisfied with himself
"you can actually make her fall asleep by just threatening to call Princess Camila and Queen Romilda"
"Yes because when those two ogres make her fall asleep they make sure it's worth it and don't let Ro let what hear you just called her" Oralie smothered a laugh with a cough and with that he said goodbye and went home
