Indigo sat in her room, thinking about her life. Indigo looked around her room and then went to her drawer. When she opened her drawer, she pulled out some pills and took them with her wine. Indigo had hope that she would die. She laid in her bed, wishing for death. He husband, Logan, appeared to her, saying, "Indigo, why did you have to do this?" Indigo laid in her bed as she cried, "I needed to be with you again." Logan laid next to his wife. He took her hand, saying, "You know, the reason I got to talk to you the other day was because your time was soon. I didn't want to tell you, but I also didn't want to accept it." Indigo held her love's hand as she waited for death.
Eventually, Indigo did pass. But she stood next to her husband, wondering what happened. "I'm not dead?" Indigo asked. Logan answered her, explaining, "You were to never die, but to become death. When people pass, you will be there to guide their soul." Indigo wondered why she would become such a thing, but was happy to learn that she would once again stand with her husband.

At the school, Alora cried when she had to accept that her friends and the love of her life died. Alora fled the building, hoping to get away from everyone.
Indigo appeared to all the souls injured in the school. The souls who were lost, the souls who were scared. Indigo helped each and every one of them. Indigo eventually came across Nyx. Nyx was now a spirit, crying as she sat next to her boyfriend. Indigo walked up to her, reaching out her hand. Nyx looked up at Indigo, with tears in her eyes, asking, "Am I dead?" Indigo answered, "I'm sorry." Nyx stood up, hugging Indigo. "Is he going to be ok?" Nyx asked as she looked at Brian. Indigo answers Nyx, "We can not see, nor tell the future." Nyx then worried for her parents. Indigo took Nyx's hand and then helped her cross.

Liam walked around the school, looking at all of the kids who were injured that night. Indigo eventually came face to face with Liam. Liam asked, "What are you?" Indigo answered him, "I am death. I help the souls find their way to their next destination." Liam thought about everything that took place that night. "Is she ok?" Liam asked, but Indigo was confused by his question. Liam then asked, "Alora, will she be ok? None of this was her fault. I shouldn't have left her." Indigo claimed there was no more time to speak, so she put her hand out for Liam to take. Liam started to cry as he took Indigo's hand, saying, "I'm going to miss her." Indigo didn't tell Liam this, but she would also miss Alora. When she took Liam's hand, a spark shocked both of them. Liam was confused as to what had happened. Indigo explained, "It must not be your time yet."

Alora sat in her room, crying about everything that had happened. She screamed for the love of her life to return to her. Alora saw her guardian angel appear before her. Alora asked, "What will become of me?" Logan answered Alora, saying, "You have met your destiny. You are now The Toxic One." Alora let out a cry. When she cried, a part of the house crashed in. Logan told her she needed to control her gifts. Alora exclaimed with anger, "What gifts? These are not gifts! These are me suffering!" Logan couldn't bear watching his daughter suffer. "I'm sorry." Logan said, with a crack in his voice. Alora knew what needed to be done.
