Chapter 179: I'm Home

I woke up to the feeling of sunlight on my skin and I found Fer-san sleeping peacefully next to me. It seemed he had returned without me noticing. I gazed at his beautiful sleeping, being careful enough to stay still so that I wouldn't wake him up but then, his eyelids twitched. Slowly, he opened his eyes.

Ah, did I wake him up?

"Fufu~ Good morning, Fer-san."

"Ren.... -kun? Good... Morning."

Fer-san seemed a bit dazed upon waking up, unlike his usual clear sharpness. I called out to him and he responded to me with a sleepy voice. It seemed he was still sleepy. He blinked his eyes, rubbing them with his hand. Somehow, it felt a bit refreshing to see Fer-san acting in this way.

"Do you still want to sleep? I'm planning on waking up soon but..."

I wonder what time Fer-san came back yesterday. I looked at the clock hanging on the wall. 06:00. It'd be better if we left before the sun got too high so preferably, we needed to wake up soon.

"Is it time already? I'm getting up then."

Fer-san said as he sat up and stretched his body.

"Is that so? Then let's wake Chris-san and Sig-san too so we can eat breakfast together."

We woke Sig-san, who was sleeping beside Fer-san, and Chris-san, who was sleeping next to me. I suggested going downstairs for breakfast.

They were both deeply asleep. They didn't wake up even after Fer-san and I moved around on the same bed, even though they used to be so sensitive at first.

"No, I want to eat the food that Ren-kun made. Or... Is that a no?"

Fer-san asked as he tilted his head to the side.

"Huh?! Of course it's not a 'no'! In fact, I'm actually happy that Fer-san prefers to eat the meal I cooked."

Ugh... There's no I can say no when you say it like that!

Even though Fer-san had just woken up, but his long, golden hair still looked as smooth as ever, without any tangle in sight. When he tilted his head to the side, his hair swayed lightly.

If there's anyone that can refuse Fer-san's request when he asks something while looking so irresistible like that then bring that person to me! I want to see them! Well, to be fair, Chris-san and Sig-san are still asleep so technically, they can flat out refuse Fer-san's request.

"Then, shall we wake these two guys up?"

"Yes. After that, I will prepare a breakfast consisting of the food that Fer-san likes."

I nodded at Fer-san, who was smiling. I then gently shook Chris-san's shoulder, who was still sleeping soundly. On the other hand, I saw Fer-san punch Sig-san's shoulder but...

That must be just my imagination, right? I think I also heard a "Ooof!" sound but that must be just imagination too, right?

Yeah. Definitely. Definitely just my imagination.

"Then Ren-chan, let's go?"

"Yes. William too, I'll be in your care today."

My first ride partner today was Chris-san and as usual, he lifted me up and helped me got on William's back. I stroked William's neck and William neighed happily in return.

"For the time being, let's run for 2 hours and we will see how things goes from there on..."

"Yes. It's still hot during the day. I don't think we'll be able to stay outside for too long even if the sunlight has receded. Maybe we should take a break first and then start traveling again at around 17:00?"
