"Mama~ I'm hungry!~"

We could hear lively voices coming from the entrance while we were eating the food I had taken out from my magic bag. By the way, this family was mostly eating side dishes bought from a nearby shop, just as Malik-san had mentioned before.

I could see Alice-chan's eyes sparkling as I took out more and more food from my magic bag. Alice-chan looked so impressed at my cooking that I felt a bit guilty at Vicky-san and her spouse.

Alice-chan wouldn't stop saying how delicious my cooking was as she practically devoured it.

"Oh, looks like the older kids are back."

Amy-san stood up and went to the living room and slowly opened the door.

Huh? Is she going to welcome them at the door? Can't they just open the door on their own?

"Well, you see... If we let them be, the kids will open the door with too much force. The door frame has often broken because of them. No matter how many times I tell them to be careful, they always forget right away..."

Vicky-san explained upon seeing me staring at Amy-san. She sighed as she explained the reason why Amu-san had to open the door for the kids.

That's the reason why?! Just how strong these kids are?! Well, Amy-san looks like the gentle and calm type and I can see that Vicky-san is the energetic type. I guess the other two kids are taking after Vicky-san in the strength department?

"I'm starving!"

"What's for dinner today?"

The sound of someone running up the stairs gradually grew louder and louder until a boy and a girl burst through the open door. With that kind of energy, I guess it was no wonder they could break the door open.

Both of them were holding onto their stomach as they turned their gaze toward the table.

"Oh! Uncle! Long time no see!"

It seemed it took them a few seconds to notice Malik-san after entering the living room. The moment they saw Malik-san, their faces lit up and they rushed over to him.

The boy was probably the eldest. He had the same brown hair as Vicky-san and Malik-san. His hair was cut very short on the sides and left fluffy on top like AMy-san and Alice-chan's, giving him a very stylish look. I couldn't see his eyes from where I was sitting, but his profile resembled Vicky-san. In other words, he resembled Malik-san a lot. If someone were to tell me that this boy was Malik-san's son, I would definitely believe it.

"Uncle, how have you been?"

The girl following behind the boy looked almost identical to Alice-chan. However, her straight red hair was cut evenly at shoulder length. She appeared to be about two or three years older than Alice-chan.

It seems neither of them have noticed my presence yet...

I thought to myself as the cute girl asked Malik-san a question. Both the girl and the boy were only looking at Malik-san after all.

"Wow.. Ivan, Sabine, you two have really grown since I last saw you two."

"Well, yeah. It's been almost a year since we last met after all."

Malik-san and the boy started chatting amiably, but at this rate, the two of them wouldn't notice me at all. Though I felt bad having to interrupt their pleasant conversation, but I decided I had to introduce myself now.

"Umm... Nice to meet you. I'm Ren. Sorry to drop by unexpectedly today..."

Thinking that they probably hadn't noticed me because Malik-san's body was blocking me from their view, I leaned towards the table to make myself more visible and introduced myself.
