always forever, cults

Waking up in the hospital was a lot for Juniper to handle. Her whole week had become a lot for her to handle. Her whole body was wrapped up in bandages and she was wearing loose hospital garb that forced her to face the consequences of her actions.

The beeping of the monitor attached to her began to accelerate, causing her heart to race and panic to fill her system.

Juniper yanked the needles and clips off of her body carelessly, grabbing her hero costume she saw folded on the chair beside her and bolted.

She slid open the window behind her and flew out, her heartbeat racing in her ears. In the room beside hers, the three boys rushed to their own window to see the cause of the commotion. Todoroki and Juniper made eye contact as she flew away from the hospital.

Midoriya was pressing against the glass as his mouth was gaping open, "Isn't that Juniper?!??"

Iida frantically waved his arms around, although restricted since his arms were both in casts, "She's not allowed to do that!!! ... Is she?"

The half and half boy was frowning, an expression that surprised the other two boys with him. Todoroki's hand raised up to the window as he quietly muttered, "Juni..."

He was much too late.

Juniper flew all the way home, straight to her bedroom window that she kept unlocked just in case she were to return home in a rush. She collided with a pile of pillows she set up across the room and laid upside down for a few moments.

Her head ached. Her hands were shaking. Her heart felt dull.

She used a bit of wind to flick on her headphones and immediately began blasting music. It didn't take long until she passed out from physical and emotional exhaustion, laying on the pile without a care.

The rest of the internship period passed by, days blurring together as Juniper would sleep. She would wake up from time to time, but didn't have any energy to do anything. It felt as though she had begun to tear at the seams, everything wanted to pour out of her. Every emotion, every thought, every bit of her quirk, every little thing she was bottling up inside of her.

Kujo Juniper was a mess.

She wanted the world to end as soon as possible so maybe the aching would stop.

But then there was a knock on the door.

Juniper lazily looked at it, sliding off the headphones for a moment upon realizing she had no idea what day it was. Not that she cared. But the knocking on the door was unrelenting.

Somehow, Juniper forced herself off of the floor and to the front door, opening it up with a dead look in her eyes.

"Jesus christ, Angel. What happened??"

Shinso Hitoshi was standing in the doorway, eyes wide as he saw the chaotic state of the girl. She furrowed her eyebrows together as she spoke with a croaky voice, "Hitoshi?" Juniper couldn't get out another word, instead breaking out into a coughing fit and just opening the door to let him in.

The purple boy rushed inside and got the girl a cup of water, closing the door behind him and pat her back. He got a better look at the girl who was still wearing hospital garb and bandages covering her whole body. He decided to focus on one thing at a time, "Is your throat better now?"

Juniper nodded, clearing her throat, "Yeah. Why are you here, Toshi?"

He grabbed one of her hands and started gently fiddling with it, "Well, Aizawa has been training me this week after school. He asked me to check on you since you vanished from Hosu Hospital without being discharged. I heard about Stain."
