SYNCHRONIZED CONFUSION

Aizawa made his way over to the two trouble makers and looked at them analytically. Their resemblance was uncanny with the same black eyes, above average height, and similar features. Not to mention their quirks, he knew something must have happened in the middle of the exam for both of them to have red specks in their eyes which had yet to subside.

He gestured for them to follow him, making his way over to the other Shiketsu teacher, "Iguchi. Do you mind if I take Yoarashi with me for a few hours? I'll send him back and make sure he gets to Shiketsu okay."

Their teacher— Iguchi nodded, "Yoarashi, call me when you leave and when you arrive."

Inasa bowed politely, "Yes sir!!" He then turned toward Aizawa with excitement, "You're Eraserhead right? The way you protect people from the shadows and use your capture scarf is so cool!!! Are we going back to UA?!!!? I LOVE UA!!!!"

Rubbing his eyes, Aizawa nodded at the two wind users as the rest of the class joined them on their way back to the bus. He glanced at the bracelet Juniper placed on Inasa's arm, "We'll head to the TDL gymnasium once we reach the school. Let's sit in the back."

The trio made their way to the back of the bus with Juniper ruffling Shoto's hair as she stopped by him. She paused and lightly tugged on his sleeve, "Can you come to the back with us? This is kinda a lot..."

He glanced at Inasa who remained quiet behind Juniper before getting up from his seat beside Tokoyami. Shoto held Juniper's hand in his as they filed in to the back row. Shoto sat in the corner next to Juniper who was on Inasa's left with Aizawa on the far right.

It was a little snug with the two tall wind users smushed together.

Juniper held Shoto's hand in her lap as she drew circles in his palm, "Inasa, have you ever had red in your eyes before?"

The boy shook his head while glancing over at Juniper, "No! You still have red in your eyes!!! Do I?"

Aizawa used his quirk on them, despite the quirk nullification jewelry they both had on, "You both do. It's not a second quirk, otherwise it would disappear... Todoroki, when did this start and why?"

Shoto enjoyed looking at her eyes as he spoke, "While fighting Gang Orca. It was after he dropped Juni on her head, then Yoarashi yelled her name and they started moving and speaking in sync." Thinking about it brought back his feelings of concern as Juniper's quirk went haywire since he was still unable to do anything to help her. "They've had the red in their eyes every since."

Taking out her phone, Juniper opened the front camera to see the red in her eyes. She couldn't help the small smile of awe that formed before pulling Inasa's arm excitedly, "Let's take a picture!!! Who knows how long it'll last!!" Her excitement was infectious as Inasa and Juniper grinned together at the camera.

She laughed a little as she looked closer at the picture, finally being able to take in their similar features. It was undeniable.

Juniper took Shoto's hand in hers as she nervously asked the boy, "Inasa... When's your birthday?"

He didn't seem to catch on to her thoughts as he replied, "September 26!! What about you?" His question was just a natural effort to be friendly but it helped them figure it all out.

"September 26..."

She continued, "Are your parents divorced?"

"Yeah, I live with my mom!!! She's super nice but also strict!!!"

"Do you know anything about... your father?"

"He's pure evil!!!! Mom says he worked at Endeavor's Agency which makes sense since Endeavor is a hero filled with hate!!"

The girl let her head fall into her hands as she closed her eyes shut and thought about it all. The facts stacked up and she couldn't deny it any longer. Her eyes met Aizawa's as she looked too nervous to say the words out loud. So he said it for her, "You two are twins. We can get a DNA test but... Same quirk, same birthday, same parents... It's pretty definite."

Juniper looked at Inasa to gauge his reaction. The boy was confused, looking at Juniper as Aizawa's words sunk in. The red in their eyes glowed brighter as they spoke in sync, "Twins? But how... Mom never mentioned..."

Shoto shook the girl's shoulders slightly, causing her to break out of their connection. She scratched her head, thinking about the parental figure she never had, "So... what's mom like?"

The despair in her eyes was overwhelming.

Inasa couldnt help it as he brought a hand up to her head, wanting to comfort her yet not really knowing how. He spoke carefully, "Mom is a meteorologist. Her quirk is Weather Prediction and she has wavy dark brown hair and brown eyes. She's strict but kind, and always supports my passions like heroes!!!" He was worried about asking but felt like he had to, "... What's dad like?"

She shook her head and leaned into Shoto's side, "He's barely a father. Works as Endeavor's secretary or something, he could barely give a fuck about me." The words came out of her mouth filled with spite as she thought about the last time she saw him.

"... Sorry..."

As they arrived, Aizawa got them out of the bus and began bringing the twins with him to TDL. Shoto was sent with the rest of the class to put away his and Juniper's hero costumes and head to the dorm. At the gym, Aizawa asked Juniper a question, "What is your father's quirk?"

Juniper hummed a little while racking her brain, "Sync? I think he can copy anyone's moves after touching them."

It made sense to the pro hero, "Then you two must have some type of twin connection or genetic thing that activates between you two. Okay, that aside, we have to figure out your quirk. I believe there's a good chance Yoarashi's quirk has awakened because of your sync. So, both of you, take off the cuffs."

The girl was a bit worried but helped Inasa take off his bracelet. He immediately had a burst of wind from his body as he brought a hand to his head, "What is this???"

Aizawa erased his quirk and asked a crucial question, "What's going on in your head?"

Inasa looked like he had a breath of relief without his quirk, "It's.. Like I have every thought ever running through my mind. What is this??"

After Juniper unlatched her cuff, she sat in the air and began to explain the downsides of her quirk awakening, "You really are awakening!!! It's a side effect of whirlwind becoming air manipulation I think. A whirlwind running in your mind, all the time, begging to eat you up. I'm still trying to get used to it but... hopefully we can do that together?"

It was a lot to take in.

The teacher had faith that Juniper would be able to help, "I'll assist as well. When it becomes too much, I'll erase your quirk. I'll order another quirk nullification cuff for you, like Juniper's so you can keep it on until you're ready."

Juniper and Inasa spoke in sync, both getting into position.

"Good luck you two. It'll be like hell, but don't give up."

"Let's do this!!!"
