süpido, frozy

The next day, Class 1-A returned back to UA, and Hitoshi was walking alongside Juniper to her class. Her uniform consisted of the main white shirt and green skirt while her body was still covered in bandages.

"Woah, Juniper, are you a mummy again???"

She waved a hand at Uraraka, holding Hitoshi's hand in her other as she led him to her seat, "Yeah, I like the look a lot~" She paused, furrowing her eyebrows together as she leaned down to the blond who had a side part, "Who the fuck are you?"

Bakugo exploded at her, hands popping as his hair exploded back into the usual spikes as well. Instead of yelling, though, he simmered in his emotions and spoke tersely, "Fuck off Granny." He immediately avoided eye contact, still noticing how she came back wrapped in bandages. His hands clenched into fists under his desk as a way of controlling himself.

"ITS BACK!!!" Kirishima and Sero laughed in sync, both buckling over and almost crying. A distraction for Juniper as she continued past the boy who avoided her.

Hitoshi dropped off Juniper's bag by her desk, ruffling her hair before leaving to head to his classroom. He wished he could stay with her, spend every hour of the day together, but that wasn't possible. Yet. Mina skipped over to interrogate the chaotic girl, "Ooo~ Are you sure you and Shinso aren't a thing? I would love for someone to carry my bag to class for me!!!"

Shrugging, Juniper rested her head on her arms and slouched down onto her seat. She didn't feel like talking much and had an overwhelming urge to go back to her place and rest. It was a harsh contrast from her usual chaotic self, leaving the rest of the class to take note and give her space.

Shoto couldn't help but notice her quiet demeanor that contradicted her usual excitement and mischief. He got up from his seat and was going to place his right hand on her head, only for Juniper to swat it away with irritated look on her face, "What?"

He faltered, losing confidence in himself but squatting down to look up at the girl, "Juni, about your internship..." He hated seeing the bandages covering her skin, seeing Shinso taking care of her, and how far away he felt from her. Although, in the first place, he was the one who put so much space between them.

She wasn't in the mood for his pleas, instead flipping him off as usual and resting her head in her desk, "Don't call me that. Go away, Todoroki."

The half and half boy gave up. Shame filling his mind as he couldn't fight to be with the girl once more. After all, it didn't seem like she wanted him in her life anymore. He went back to his desk, just as the rest of the class began discussing the Hero Killer and how Endeavor and Khaos took him down. It was a nice excuse for Juniper as to why she was so beat up, but those who were in the alleyway knew Stain was unable to harm her.

Voices turned into background noise, even as class started and lectures began. Juniper remained resting her head on her desk, not caring about anything but the aching in her mind.

No one disturbed her, more worried about her wellbeing.

Once it was time for hero basic training, Aizawa pulled the girl to the side as the rest of her class went to the locker rooms, "Juniper. How are you?"

Juniper shrugged looking at her hands and messing with the bandages as she spoke, "I'm fine, just tired."

Aizawa cared about his students immensely. When he got a call from Hosu Hospital saying that Juniper had run away from them, he sent Hitoshi to take care of her. But that was days after she had vanished. So, he checked with Endeavor Hero Agency to see what he could learn about her internship.
