The day Midoriya had finished serving his sentence was the day that Aizawa had planned something for the class to teach them about the importance of work studies. He began his announcement to the class, "Today, we want to give you guys a better sense of the difference between internships and work studies. Who better to explain that the ones who have gone through it themselves? Everyone welcome the big three."

Three students entered, bringing an intense aura with them into the classroom. Introductions were due and Amajiki Tamaki wanted to get it over with first. He composed himself before sending a fierce look at the students. Most felt intimidated until Amajiki gave up and turned to face the wall, "I can't do it... Even if they're all potatoes, they still have human bodies and I can't get over it..."

Beside him, Hado Nejiro laughed and introduced him for the class, "The mushroom over here is Amajiki Tamaki!! I'm Hado Nejire and this is Togata Mirio!!" She then got excited and began asking questions about the students, "Hey, why are you wearing a mask? Do those horns regenerate? Are those balls on your head your hair? Why are you wearing a quirk nullification cuff? Oh I just want to get to know everything about you all!!!"

Aizawa tiredly looked at them, "Calm down Hado. Finish things up, Togata."

Last but definitely not least, Togata Mirio looked at the class, "Well... Everyone can call me Mirio! Let's go to the gymnasium! I think a combat lesson would be the best way to show what we've learned!!!"

The students filed out of the room and changed into their PE uniforms on their way to the TDL gymnasium. Once inside, Shoto and Juniper ended up standing to the side with Aizawa since they had failed their provisional exams.

"Everyone come at me at once!! Just don't feel too bad when you lose!!"

They attacked, long distance fighters first. Unfortunately, Mirio had fallen into the floor, leaving his clothes to fall onto the ground. He reappeared behind Jiro who shrieked when she turned around and got a view of his little Mirio.

It was quick. He sucker punched all of the long distance fighters in their gut, leaving them groaning as they fell to the floor. Mirio went after the close distance fighters next, Midoriya being the closest to getting a hit on him before he was poked in the eyes. Soon enough, all of the students had collapsed onto the ground in pain.

Mirio looked over at the two students standing beside Aizawa, "Hey you guys!!! Come on and give it a shot!!!" He held a thumbs up, encouraging them to take on the challenge.

Juniper tugged on Shoto's sleeve with excitement, "Let's try it!!! Can we, Aizawa?"

The teacher shrugged, "Go ahead. I'll hold onto the cuff, Juniper." She took off the cuff, beginning to float in the air as she handed over the cuff and stretched her arms a bit. While the rest of her classmates were groaning in pain on the floor, the duo stood back to back on the other side of the gym.

Shoto's fire protected his left side while Juniper grinned at Mirio while keeping a few feet off the ground. She had a half baked plan in mind.

Standing with his hands on his hips, Mirio fell into the ground, pants falling onto the floor. Juniper closed her eyes, focusing to continue tracking the air that was still inside Mirio's body. Right as he was below the surface, Juniper yelled, "NOW!!!"

Fire erupted around Shoto as Juniper flew higher into the air to escape Mirio's range. Mirio glanced up to see her waving from above as he sucker punched Shoto in the gut, forcing his fist through the fire to put the boy out of commission.

Mirio slipped back into the floor, deeper than before so he could reach Juniper's height. He twisted his body to keep his unspeakables facing away from the girl as he aimed a punch at her. She waited until right before he was about to make contact before grabbing his fist and twisting his arm.

Juniper moved too fast for him.

He sunk back into the floor before coming up and putting back on his pants with one arm. Mirio shook his arm out before giving Juniper a thumbs up, "You've got speed and power!!! I can't beat you!!"

The girl giggled before allowing herself to free fall in front of Mirio before catching herself lying in the air at his eye level. She grinned as she gave a mini salute, "Oh, why thank you! That was fun!!"

Nejire ran over, clasping her hands together behind her back as she interrogated the girl, "Oh, you must be Juniper right? Wow!! Is your quirk air manipulation? How tall are you? Is that scar from Bakugo? What was it like with the League of Villains?"

Juniper laughed, twisting so she was sitting upside down criss cross at the older girl's eye level, "That's me! Yes it is!!! 180 centimeters!! Yeah, doesn't it look cool? They were just a group of losers!!!"

They matched each others energy perfectly.

Whisper yelling, Juniper held one hand up by her mouth as she asked, "Is Amajiki really shy?"

This time, Mirio replied while smiling at his best friend, "He is!!! Come over Tamaki, the rest of the students are in pain so it's just Juniper now!!"

Amajiki side eyed the girl before dragging his feet over to them, while keeping his gaze fixed onto the floor, "Why do I have to do this, Mirio... Can't we go home now..."

Flipping right side up, Juniper went behind Mirio and looked at the shy third year over the blond's shoulders. She hid most of her face at first, "Don't be afraid of me!! I don't bite!!" She leaned over and puffed up her hair, "Much."

The third year straightened up, turning back towards the wall and facing it once more, "I wanna go home..."

Juniper muffled a laugh before Aizawa came over and put the cuff back onto her arm. She fell, not having fixed her balance in time and unceremoniously pancaking the ground. Because of the way she fell, Amajiki was the closest one who could help her as she groaned and laid on the ground tiredly.

He was nervous as he held out his hand to help her up, turning away so he didn't even have to face her while offering, "H-Here..."

She brightened up and took his hand, popping up from the ground happily, "Oh why thank you! You're kind, Amajiki."

All he could do was explode red as he tried his best to stay calm and have fake confidence, "Th-Thank you..." Despite his shyness, Amajiki was a hero. His will to help someone in need would always prevail over his urges.

Turning to her teacher, Juniper glared at him as Aizawa avoided eye contact.

Once the rest of the students got up, Mirio gave a smile to the class, "I tried to hid my willy. Sorry about that, girls!! So, do you all get it now?"

Midoriya spoke for everyone else, "Not really, we just got punched in the stomach without knowing what was going on..."

Mirio decided to ask a question, "Do you think my quirk is strong?"

Sero raised his hand first with a strong opinion, "It was TOO strong!! There was no way for us to counter it!!!"

The third year was happy to explain, "My quirk is permeation meaning that I can slip through everything, including the ground! I get propelled upwards when that happens since mass can't overlap mass. I made this quirk strong! I made all this possible thanks to experience!!! These work studies are your best chance at gaining real life experience, where heroes will see you as heroes as well. Turn experience into POWER!!!"

From his words, the class began to get excited about their path to become a hero. Juniper ended up standing beside Shoto and nudged him, "We gotta catch up, right?"

He nodded, thinking the exact same thing, "We will."

In the weeks that followed, some students were missing from class as they participated in hero studies. Juniper, Shoto, and Katsuki were left behind. But the girl had time to master her quirk and nagged Aizawa to let her help out however she could.
