Ezekiel: Ni, do you remember a slayer boy named Endo Dawn Yori from a village you burned down due to a rumor a few years ago?

Ni looks up, tapping his index finger on his chin and humming a soft tune repeating "Endo Dawn Yori" in a hushed tone.

Ni: AHAH, Endo, ya know he had a knack for merging stuff together along with fighting but that shouldn't be surprising given he was a slayer, his dad was actually very high ranking in the Slayer army after they joined the Nether army, such a shame his village had to try a start a coup d'etat, and his mom, she was the best cook in all of Hades what a shame... What a SHAME.

Ezekiel: And you still remember Niel?

Ni: Of course I do, he worked with Whithead they ran a photography business, in fact when I got married I hired them to take my wedding pictures, but now I can't look at those photos, not after the incident.

Ezekiel: Niel and Whithead were not good people, tell me do you think I wanted to know where Niel was because I felt like asking where a random person was, no I wanted to know because Niel was a pedophile they touched Endo then Niel manipulated Endo into giving up some of his slayer powers and his innocence but you make it seem like he did nothing wrong.

Ni: Yes I knew they were a pedophile but that was in their past, do you think I can't see what everybody in Hades is doing? But it was only in his past if Endo had spoken up everything would have been stopped.

Ezekiel: And why do you think he didn't speak up, tell me Ni, I think that it is because if he had spoken up he could've been in true trouble, he could have been killed by Niel.

Ni: Hm well that would mean I wouldn't be able to stop him.

Ezekiel: NI THAT ISN'T THE POINT LOOK AT IT WITH YOUR EYES AND NOT WITH THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD!

Ni: Okay okay.

Ezekiel's mind: So I am reading this book okay. Wait what book are you reading, I never really read books. Can I finish my story? Yeah sure. Okay well to answer your question, I was reading the epical melodic, and how Orious had to become a monster to leave his home and I think it makes sense, in a dire enough situation you need to become a monster, but not just a monster, THE MONSTER! You call me in my mind to talk about and spoil a book I haven't read, go to sleep, Eli. Oh, wait it isn't like a shared ability between us, I can see your memories and you can see mine. No I don't think so but I guess I will try when I finally get in my room.

Ni tries to grab the flip phone but Ezekiel catches Ni's hand and enters his grandfather's room.

Ni: I, *sigh* Ezekiel, I am sorry.

Ezekiel: Don't be sorry for me be sorry for the boy who will never see his family again since your feelings were hurt, if you a really sorry and you actually cared you will give him back everything you took, but you can't so just leave me alone, I will leave you with the phone and you can try and call Endo but I doubt he would wanna talk to you, just like he won't talk to me, but I destroyed his life's work to protect him, you threw away his life because you were sad we are not the same.

A tear made of lava falls from Ni's left eye.

Ni: Training starts at 10 am, goodnight Ezekiel.

Ezekiel throws the phone at Ni, Ni catches the phone looking at it before wiping his tear so it doesn't burn the phone.

Ezekiel's mind: Okay Eli, wake up, Eli, ELI

Eli drops from the ceiling

What do you want AH, my God, where did you even come from? Just put your hand on my head, try to read my memories. Okay, and what if it doesn't work? Idontknow. So we are just winging it? Yeah, also did you know that Mateo published a book called "How I Survived the Secret Soldier, Ezekiel Tyd." He just loves putting my name in his mouth, but why do I kinda wanna read it Try buying it on the Cross Universe Express. How do you know about that, what even is that, well I know what it is because of the context but I have never heard of that before? I was able to travel the world before settling down in Tydskrag. How do people find out about Tydskrag, how did you find out about it? Well when I was down on luck and felt I was at my lowest, something in my brain unlocked, like a gate and I had just got the key, I went to the border and I repeated the whispers, which was actually just the spell to see everything, I think that is how the border burns some people and doesn't do anything. Okay well, to time than the present.

Ezekiel shoves his hand on Eli's head grabs it and concentrates trying to read his memories but everything is showing up as a storm, everything, everywhere, then a lighting bolt strikes Ezekiel throwing Ezekiel out of the mindspace.

Ezekiel: I need a nap.

A gong rings throughout the palace and Ni slams the door to Ezekiel's room open.

Ni: RISE AND SHINE SLEEPING CUTIE, IT IS YOUR FIRST DAY OF TRAINING.

Ezekiel groans: Can I get five more minutes?

Ni: If you go back to sleep I am cutting your hair off.

Ezekiel launches out of bed grabs his sword and a fresh change of clothes, and grabs the phone off of his cabinet reading an apology.

Dear Endo Dawn Yori,

I am sorry for burning down your village, I did the thing because I was insecure and didn't want to be overthrown by people I trusted. I know you probably will not see this but if you do, can you just message me back?
