Chapter 14: Pt. 1 of Special Chapter (1/2)

IMPORTANT NOTE! This is like a Trailer for the special chapters. Since they are taking longer than expected, I decided to give a small prologue with the bots. Enjoy.

"Come on, Bulk! Throw it hard, you old rust bucket!" Cliffjumper teased, readying himself. In the Autobot base, All the bots were on a break and some decided to have a little fun. Bumblebee was watching a short film Heidi showed him from the human area. Arcee was sitting on one of the crates as she watched Bulkhead and Cliffjumper play lob ball. Ratchet was fixing one of his inventions, annoyed by all the noise. Finally, Optimus was at the console, looking for Decepticon signals.

"You sure Cliff? Last time you got him in the helm. Hard." Bulkhead said. Cliffjumper rolled his optics, glancing at Arcee who had a knowing look. He turned back to Bulkhead, confident as he cracked his knuckles.

"Don't worry about it! Throw it or have you gone soft, Wrecker?" Cliffjumper teased. Bulkhead smirked, gripping the giant metal ball in his servos. He leans back, aiming for Cliffjumper before hurling it at him with full strength. No one was not expecting Cliffjumper to catch it but to everyone's surprise, he caught it with both servos and skidded back a few small feet. However, he stayed on his peds to everyone's surprise. He smirked, holding the lob as he looked at Bulkhead.

"Well, would you look at that! You finally caught it!" Bulkhead said, walking up to Cliffjumper like a proud dad. Cliffjumper tosses the ball to him, proud of his accomplishment.

"Yup. I'm just that good. But I also gotta give credit to Heidi." Cliffjumper explained. Arcee then walked up, overhearing and knowing what he meant. She smirked, crossing her arms happily as Bulkhead looked at him confused. Ratchet grumbled as Cliffjumper explained.

"Heidi sweet-talked Ratchet into creating a small little invention for us. So long as she doesn't prank him for a week. It launches lob balls at me harder than Bulkhead can." Cliffjumper said, proudly.

"You should've seen how many times he got hit in the helm trying to catch the first ones," Arcee teased, laughing a bit. Cliffjumper playfully glared at her as Bumblebee suddenly spoke up, overhearing the conversation.

"Oh yeah! The amount of times he slammed into the concrete was hilarious!" Bumblebee beeped, laughing at the end. The others joined him and soon, Cliffjumper sighed with a small chuckle.

"Okay, okay! I wasn't the best. But you've gotta admit that I've gotten better." Cliffjumper said. Arcee and Bumblebee both shrugged before turning their attentions elsewhere. Cliffjumper rolled his optics while Bulkhead looked around curiously. Speaking of Heidi, Bulkhead couldn't seem to find her. Why wasn't she with Cliffjumper or here at least?

"Hey, Cliff. Where is Heidi anyway? Haven't seen in her in a bit." Bulkhead said. Cliffjumper chuckled, confused about how he didn't know. Optimus had alerted all of them about Heidi. However, Bulkhead was a little forgetful.

"Bulk, seriously? Heidi was called in by the government a couple of days ago to help with some official stuff." Cliffjumper explained. Optimus then spoke up, turning away from his work and to the bots.

"She is assisting Agent Fowler in shutting down the myths circling us. So that we may be on better terms with our allies." Optimus continued, before turning back to the console. Bulkhead nodded when suddenly, multiple beeps sounded from the screen.

All the bots walked over as Optimus looked into the cause. Someone was calling them. Ratchet quickly took over from the console, answering the call. A screen pulled up to reveal Agent Fowler standing in a dark room, looking at them.

"Special Agent Fowler," Optimus greeted.

"Prime. I would've called sooner but a nasty storm came in last night, jamming communications." Agent Fowler said. A smirk then appeared as all the Autobots joined Optimus and Ratchet, listening in.
