"How the heck did you talk me into this? And in the freaking morning, of all times." Heidi grumbled, yawning as she rubbed her eyes. It wasn't early, but Heidi was never a morning person. She'd sleep till noon if it weren't for school, her job, and well, Cliffjumper, for that matter. Heidi turned to look at Bumblebee as he finished typing something into the groundbridge. Other than Ratchet, who was working elsewhere in the base, everyone else was out on patrols, including Cliffjumper. Leaving Bumblebee and Heidi alone with a plan. One thing Heidi wasn't fond of.

A green light suddenly blinds her sight momentarily, causing her to groan as she shuts her eyes. When she felt comfortable, she finally turned back to the swirling vortex in front of her. That's when Bumblebee came to her side with an eager bounce in his step.

"You sure you wanna do this, Bee?" Heidi asked, skeptically. Bumblebee turned to her, buzzing and whirring as he moved his servos to create signs.

"You're the one who wanted to come with," Bumblebee signed. Heidi could practically hear the pride in his hand signals. She narrows her eyes in response, turning to him fully.

"Yeah, because you're going on a mission without Optimus's knowledge to a place where a giant secret is being kept. Besides, I don't trust your plan about finding the meteor." Heidi snaps. Bumblebee shrugs before continuing to sign.

"I've been tracking this meteor forever! And now that it's crashed, we can scout it. Save the others the trouble. Trust me." Bumblebee explained. Trust and Bumblebee haven't always gone hand in hand when it comes to his plans. Something was always bound to happen, and Heidi doubted this plan would be any different.

"But shouldn't we at least tell Optimus what we're doing? It would be safer to tell him, or anyone else, for that matter, so that if something happens while we're there, they'll know where to look," Heidi reasoned. She hoped he'd listen to her on that, but unfortunately, the scout was too proud to care.

"It's fine, Heidi. We'll be in and out before anyone knows we're gone. Besides, Optimus would've probably wanted us to scout it out anyway, so we're doing him a favor." Bumblebee continued. Heidi was still unconvinced, raising an eyebrow. Bumblebee pauses, gently stroking his chin before an idea hits him.

"Didn't say you were planning to visit our friends in Griffin Rock anyway?" Bumblebee asked. Heidi narrowed her eyes, and Bumblebee took that as a 'yes.' His optics have a knowing look now as he continues.

"Then think of this as an...early visit! They're probably going to check it out themselves since it landed so close to Griffin Rock, right?" Bumblebee explained. Heidi's gaze softens slightly, the realization hitting her. He isn't wrong. And if she got to them sooner, she could get the government off her back for a while. They've been more than adamant about Heidi visiting them as soon as possible. With that, Heidi sighs in defeat, shaking her head. She's too tired to argue anymore.

"Alright. You win. But if we get in trouble, you're taking the blame." Heidi snaps, pointing a finger at Bumblebee. Bumblebee rolls his optics, waving her off with a few beeps and buzzes. At that, he begins walking into the vortex. Heidi lets out one final sigh, grumbling a bit before joining him on his trip to where the meteor landed. Wayward Island.

Wayward Island was especially spooky with the storm that was about to roll in, darkening the sky with irritated clouds. Fog coats the ground in some areas while the sound of the wind whispers through the trees. Despite that, it was mainly silent, saving an owl's hoots or a cricket's sound. In a part of the damp forest that covered the island with a small mountain, A green and white vortex appears with passengers. Heidi and Bumblebee walk out of the vortex, taking in the woods around them. A slight breeze quickly hits Heidi, the damp air making her shiver.
