"Land ho!" The ferry Captain said through the speaker. All the guests gathered to see the busy port of Maine. It was a beautiful early morning with low winds and blue skies. Some people were excited to get off and see family. Others were excited to get off because they were seasick. As the Captain moved the boat closer, Heidi walked onto the deck with her backpack on and sketchbook in her arms.

"Thank goodness I placed this and those files in a ziplock bag. I don't even wanna think about how much trouble I'd be in. Whether it's with the government or my teachers." Heidi said, shuttering at the thought. She continued working on some notes for school and after a moment, she closed her book with a smirk.

The ferry finally docked at the harbor, letting its passengers get off. Heidi quickly got off, taking out her phone to find out who would be picking her up. Agent Fowler said only one bot would be helping her on the mission to keep it as secretive as possible. Soon, Heidi came to the parking lot near the harbor. She looked around until the honk of a truck's horn got her attention.

She turned to see a large red and blue Peter-built pull-up next to her. Heidi was shocked, her mouth slightly agape. Out of all the bots, Heidi didn't expect the Autobots leader to be joining her on the mission. His cab door swung open as Heidi shook off her shock. She jumped into the truck, putting her seatbelt on as the door closed.

"Hey, Optimus! Good to see you."

"Hello, Heidi. I am glad to see you are in good health. You gave us quite the scare when we heard about what happened." Optimus explained. Heidi shrugged sheepishly, feeling a bit guilty for making them worry. Optimus began to drive ahead then, starting their journey as Heidi spoke.

"I bet. Sorry about that."

"There is nothing to apologize for. It was not your fault and So long as you are feeling well, there is nothing to worry about." Optimus explained. Heidi nodded, looking out the window of the large truck.

"So, any word from our visitors yet?" Heidi asked.

"Afraid not. We have tried contacting them many times but they have yet to answer for unknown reasons. As such, when they do arrive, I believe it is best for you to stay hidden until I can confirm whether they are our allies or our enemies. Is that clear?" Optimus explained. Heidi nodded, humming a bit as their trip continued.

After a long road trip, they finally arrived at the airbase where the ship would supposedly crash. At the moment, no one was there other than Heidi and Optimus. Once he came to a stop, he opened the door for Heidi who immediately jumped out with her stuff. Optimus quickly transformed after, walking ahead and examining the area around them. Heidi followed with one question in mind.

"So, What now?"

"Now, we must wait for them to arrive," Optimus explained. Just as he finished, Heidi began to hear something coming from above and behind them. It almost sounded like a... whistle? Both of them turned just in time to see a spaceship heading straight towards them, falling from the sky.

"Looks like we don't have to wait long!" Heidi said, backing up nervously. Optimus then quickly swept her off her feet and into his servo. He ran for cover in one of the bases, hiding inside. Just as he entered, the ship crashed into the ground, making it rumble and growl. After multiple crashes and clangs along with a loud screech of metal hitting concrete, it went silent.

Once he was sure it was done, Optimus carefully let Heidi off his servo and onto the ground. Heidi brushed herself off as Optimus peaked out from the base, battle mask on now. Heidi was quick to join his side, peeking out from below him. Her eyes widened as she stared at the strange Cybertronian ship.
