003. BREAKING OUT OF PRISON

Chapter three

"Breaking out of prison." 

The next morning, they all were up and headed down for lunch, where Atara and Gamora met up with Rocket, Peter and Groot, as the five of them stood in line "if we're gonna get out of here we're gonna need to get into that watchtower. And to do that, I'm gonna need a few things." Rocket shared, as they all grabbed their trays and headed over to the tables "the guards wear security bands to control their in's and out's. I need one." Rocket shared "leave it to me." Gamora told them.

"That dude, there. I need his prosthetic leg." Rocket shared "Rocket.." Atara told him, knowing he really didn't need it "his leg?" Peter asked "yeah. God knows I don't need the rest of him. Look at him, he's useless." Rocket shared "all right." Peter told him "and finally, on the wall back there is a black panel. Blinky yellow light." Rocket shared, as they put their trays down on the table, Atara turned her head along with Peter "do you see it?" Rocket asked "yeah." Atara told him, as they all sat down except for Groot.

"There's a quarnyx battery behind it. Purplish box, green wires. To get into that watch tower, I definitely need it." Rocket shared "I can get it." Atara told them "I know you can. That's why it's your job and once the battery is removed everything is gonna slam into emergency mode. Once we have it, we gotta move quickly, so you definitely need to get that last." Rocket shared, as all the lights went off and an alarm began blaring.

Rocket and Atara turned seeing Groot with the battery in his hand "you've gotta be kidding me!" Atara voiced "or we could just get it first and improvise." Rocket shared "I'll get the arm band." Gamora told them "leg." Peter stated, as he and Gamora got up and ran off, Atara got up and ran after Peter "Red, where you going!" Rocket called out, but Atara didn't listen, heading up the stairs, she shoved prisoners out of her way as she followed after Peter, but she soon lost him through the crowd, as she ran by one of the rooms "you need my what?" a guy asked.

As Atara quickly back tracked and turned, looking into the room "Peter!" she voiced, as Peter turned to her "I know I'm getting it!" he voiced "no! We don't need it!" Atara voiced "but Rocket said.." Peter was telling her "yeah I know what he said! It's just like when he told me when I was a kid that he needed some guys gold tooth and I believed him to where I punched the guy so hard his teeth fell out and it was all just some big joke because he wanted to see what the guy looked like with no teeth!" Atara voiced, and when she did.

Peter looked at her with realization "now, come on!" Atara voiced, motioning to her, Peter ran toward's her, as the two turned running down the hallway, gunshots could be heard in the distance, as one of the guards walked in front of them "prisoners get back in your cells!" he voiced, as Atara kicked her foot up, knocking the gun out of his hand, she then spun around, kicking him in the face, as he fell to the ground, Peter bent down grabbing the gun.

Atara heard the sound of a droid coming toward's them as she turned seeing it flying in the air, Peter turned and shot at it, causing it to explode, the two then turned running downstairs "Rocket!" Gamora yelled, tossing Rocket the arm band "move to the watch tower!" Rocket voiced, as him and Groot began heading toward's it, Atara and Peter made it down to the bottom as the two ran toward's it.

Atara began climbing up Groot, as Peter threw down the gun and followed after her, one of the droids came up and aimed it's guns at them, but before it could shoot them, Drax jumped up and grabbed it, bringing it down to the ground where he destroyed it "you two! Elven princess and man who has lain with an A'askavarian!" he voiced, as Atara shook her head "not a princess!" she voiced, as she continued to climb up "it was one time man." Peter said, as he followed after Atara, Drax began climbing up as well.
