026. NOT A REBEL BUT A SONGBIRD

Chapter twenty six

"Not a rebel but a songbird." 

Where when they made into the ship, the Nebula from this timeline grabbed both of them, dragging them out of the pod and down the hallway, she then threw them on the ground "you're both weak." she shared "your technically saying that about yourself." Atara told her, as Nebula punched her in the face and crouched down to her, she noticed the chain hanging out of her pocket as she pulled out the pocket watch, she stood back up and looked at Gamora, stepping around her and walking off.

"You can stop this. You know you want to." Nebula told Gamora, as Gamora looked at them especially Atara, knowing her as Red "did you see what happens in the future? Thanos finds the soul stone. You wanna know how he does that?" Nebula asked, as the other Nebula walked back over "you wanna know what he does to you?" Nebula asked Gamora "that's enough." the other Nebula said, stepping toward's her, she went to kick her in the face.

But Atara flipped herself over, kicking that Nebula in the face, where as she landed on her feet again, Nebula pulled out her knife "you wanna hurt her you'll have to go through me." Atara shared "that could be rearranged Red." Nebula told her, and as she did, Atara reached her hand down to her belt, revealing Gamora's sword, Gamora looked at it surprised, Nebula screamed and ran at her, Atara ran at her, swinging the sword toward's the pocket watch, Nebula dodged it, as she cut her in the arm.

Atara went to go at her again, but as she did, a sword similar to her's was held across her neck, as Gamora looked to Nebula "do what you have to do." she told her, and as she did, Nebula nodded at her, as she turned, kneeling down to the Nebula from her time, taking a piece of her head off, she stood up ad walked off.

Where Atara and Nebula were then sitting next to each other, as Gamora stood by them as the ship was flying through what must've been the pocket watch, as they soon were out of 2012 and back in 2020, where the sounds of explosions filled Atara's ears, she knew Thanos was destroying the planet and as she did, she was reminded of her home planet and how they heard the same sounds of explosions and a part of her with everything she had been told was sure she knew this information already but it didn't hurt any less.

Where Gamora had left them and soon came walking back in "tell me something. In the future..what happens to you two and me?" she asked "I try to kill both of you. Several times. But eventually..thanks to the one sitting on my right, you two had become like sisters and in that we became friends. Sisters. All three of us." Nebula shared, as Gamora came walking over, she held her hands out to both of them "come on. We can stop him." she shared, as the two gave her their hands "we need that pocket watch and those stones." Atara shared, as the three of them began heading out of there.

Heading down into the sewer, Atara her bow an arrow out as her, Gamora and their Nebula came across the bad Nebula standing over Clint holding the gauntlet and having the pocket watch in her pocket, Atara notched an arrow and shot it at the gun, knocking it over the edge, Nebula turned and looked at her and when she did, Atara lunged at her to grab the pocket watch but Nebula stepped toward's her holding her sword against her neck "stop." Gamora told her, as Nebula turned looking at her "you're betraying us?" she asked.

As their Nebula walked out, bad Nebula aimed her sword at her and as she did Clint moved out of the way, as Atara put her bow an arrow away and grabbed her belt, pulling out the sword "you don't have to do this." their Nebula told her "I am this." bad Nebula said "no, you're not." Gamora told her "you've seen what we become." their Nebula told her "Nebula, listen to her." Gamora told her "you can change." their Nebula told her, as Gamora brought down her gun "he won't let me." bad Nebula told them.
