006. TAKEN BY THE RAVANGERS

Chapter six

"Taken by the ravangers."

Flying down, Rocket and Gamora crashed landed and as they got out of their pods, Drax and Groot were there "blasted idiot. They're all idiots! Atara just sacrificed herself and Quill just got himself captured!" Rocket voiced "Rocket.." Gamora told him "none of this ever would've happened if you didn't try to single handedly take on a frickin army!" Rocket voiced, as Drax sighed "you're right. I was a fool. All the anger, all the rage, was just to cover my loss." he shared, as Groot put his hand on his shoulder.

"Oh, boo hoo hoo. My wife and child are dead." Rocket voiced "Rocket!" Gamora voiced, as Groot gasped "oh, I don't care if it's mean! Everybody's got dead people. It's not excuse to get everybody else dead along the way! Including the girl I looked after her entire life! Come on, Groot. Ronan has the stone. The only chance we got is to get to the other side of the universe as fast as we can and maybe, just maybe we'll be able to live full lives before that whack job ever gets there." Rocket shared.

"I am groot." Groot said as he stood up "save them? How?" Rocket asked "I am groot." Groot said "I know they're the only friends that we ever had, but there's an army of ravangers around them. And there's only two of us!" Rocket voiced "three." Gamora shared, stepping forward, as Drax stood up "four." he said, as Rocket grunted, putting his hands over his head as he turned away from them all "ah!" he voiced, as he began kicking dirt "you're making me beat up grass!" he voiced, as Gamora turned looking at Drax and Groot.

Meanwhile on Yondu's ship, Atara was being held back and forced to watch as two of them held back Peter while Yondu beat him "you betray me?" Yondu asked, punching Peter in the stomach as he groaned in pain "steal my money!" Yondu voiced, punching him again "let him go!" Atara voiced, lunging toward's them, as the two guys pulled her back "when I picked you up as a kid," Yondu said, grabbing Peter by the face "these boys wanted to eat you." he said, letting him go "they never tasted Terran before. I saved your life!" he voiced.

"Oh, will you shut up above that? God! Twenty years, you been throwing that in my face, like it's some great thing, not eating me. Normal people don't even think about eating someone else! Much less that person having to be grateful for it! You abducted me, man. You stole me from my home and from my family." Peter shared "you don't give a damn about your Terra! You're scared cause you're soft in here." Yondu shared, hitting his chest "here, right here!" he voiced, grabbing him again "soft! The moment Peter saw what that infinity stone can do! He wanted to sell it like you taught him too! But as we speak that stone is now in Ronan's hands!" Atara voiced.

"I know what he's got, girl." Yondu shared, looking to her "then you must know that we have to get it back before he uses it to wipe out Xandar! If we don't at least warn them of the oncoming attack, billions of people will die just like on my planet." Atara shared, as Yondu chuckled "and what planet do you come from?" he asked her "Alfheim! I am princess Atara!" Atara voiced, and as she did, all of the ravangers along with Yondu laughed, as Yondu turned to Peter "is that what she's been filling your head with, boy? That she's that princess from that story?" he asked, slapping Peter across the face, as the ravangers laughed.

"Leave him alone!" Atara voiced, lunging forward again, as she pulled back, Yondu grabbed Peter by the face "eating away your brain like maggots!" he voiced, letting him go "that's it." he said, moving his jacket and revealing and arrow, where as he whistled it went up to Peter's neck as Atara's eyes went wide "no!" she screamed "sorry, boy. But a captain's gotta teach his men what happens to those who cross him." Yondu shared, turning away from Peter "captains gotta teach stuff!" one of them voiced, as the ravangers agreed.

"If you kill me now, you are saying goodbye to the biggest score you have ever seen." Peter shared, as Yondu turned around "the stone? I hope you got something better then that. Because ain't nobody stealing from Ronan." he shared "we got a ringer." Peter told him "is that right?" Yondu asked "she knows everything there is to know about Ronan. His ships, his army." Peter shared, as Yondu looked to Atara "and this ringer of ours knows he's vulnerable." Atara shared "hey, what do you say, Yondu, huh?" Peter asked, as Yondu looked to him "me and you, taking down a mark side by side, like the old days." Peter shared, chuckling.

And as he did, Atara looked from Peter to Yondu, where as he whistled she jumped, but watched as the whistle went back toward's Yondu as he laughed "there we go! Oh, you always did have scrote, boy!" he voiced, pulling Peter into a hug, Atara kicked her leg back causing the ravanger on her right to hunch over, as she then swung her hand punching the one holding her on the left in the face "that's why I kept you on as a young'un." Yondu shared, as the ship rumbled like something had hit it, Atara knew what this confusion was like, as the ship rumbled again.

Yondu began running off with the rest of the ravangers, as Atara stepped toward's Peter "you okay?" she asked him, as Peter nodded "yeah." he told her, as the two ran after everyone else "attention, idiots. The lunatic on top of this craft is holding a hadron enforcer. A weapon of my own design." Rocket shared "what the hell?" Yondu asked "if you don't hand over our companions now, he's gonna tear your ship a new one. A very big new one!" Rocket voiced "I ain't buyin it." Yondu said "i'm giving you to the count of five. Five!" Rocket voiced.

And as he did, Atara ran to the front as Peter followed behind her, Atara pressed the button "Rocket, Rocket! It's me and Peter! Do not blow us up! We're okay!" she voiced "oh, hey, Red. What's going on?" Rocket asked, as Atara turned to Peter.
