005. THE ORB IS MORE POWERFUL THEN WE KNEW

Chapter five

"The orb is more powerful then we knew." 

Having headed into a building, they walked up a flight of stairs, passing different cases, as the pink women walked ahead of them "okay, this isn't creepy at all." Rocket mentioned "we house the galaxy's largest collection of fauna, relics, and species of all manner." the pink women shared, as Rocket growled at a space dog who was in a case growling back at him, as they continued on through, the pink women soon stopped and looked to them as she held her arms out "I present to you, Taneleer Tivan, the collector." she told them.

As a man with white hair and a giant white fur jacket turned to them and walked up to Gamora "oh, my dear, Gamora." he told her, grabbing her and lifting it up to kiss it "how wonderful to meet you in the flesh." he shared, kissing her hand "let's bypass the formalities, Tivan.  We have what we discussed." Gamora shared, as the collector looked past her and at Groot "what is that thing there?" he asked "I am groot." Groot said.

As the collector walked toward's him, Atara pulled out her bow, notching an arrow she aimed it at the man "he is not for sale.." she shared, walking in front of Groot "nor will you be using his body to make him into a chair or any other object you suffice even in death." she shared, raising her brows "an elf. Your kind are supposed to be..extinct." the collector shared, reaching his hand out to touch her ear, Peter stepped in front of her before he could.

Gamora stepped toward's him "Tivan. We have been halfway around the galaxy, retrieving this orb." she shared, as Tivan turned to her "very well, then. Let us see what you brought." he told her, as Peter pulled it out of his pocket, he held it out but dropped it, as he bent down and picked it up, holding it out again.

The collector grabbed it, as they all followed him over to a table where he began to look at it "oh, my new friends. Before creation itself, there were six singularities." the collector shared, using a machine to open the orb where it made these purple circles appear around them "then the universe exploded into existence," he shared, as these different color circles appeared over the purple ones showing different lights "and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots." he told them, as a yellow, orange, green, red, blue and purple stones appeared "infinity stones." the collector said.

As Peter and Atara looked down at the orb "these stones, it seems, can only be brandished by beings of extraordinary strength. Observe." the collector told them, as they all turned seeing a large being a scepter in hand with a purple stone on it and people running away "these carriers can use the stone to mow down entire civilizations like wheat in a field." the collector told them, as they watched the being slam the scepter down causing all the people to do disappear and as it zoomed out to the entire planet, it disappeared as well.

"There's a little pee coming out of me right now." Peter shared "once for a moment, a group was able to share the energy amongst themselves, but even they were quickly destroyed by it." the collector shared, as the people holding hands quickly disappeared, they all turned seeing that the orb was opened all the way to see the purple stone as the collector rubbed his hands together "beautiful." he said, holding his hands out to it "beyond compare." he said.

"Blah, blah, blah. We're all very fascinated, whitey. But we'd like to get paid." Rocket shared, as all the images disappeared "how would you like to get paid?" the collector asked, walking toward's a desk, they all followed him "what do you think, fancy man? Units!" Rocket voiced, as the collector opened a drawer "very well, then." he told them, going to pay them as he looked up "Carina. Stand back." he said "I will no longer be your slave!" Carina voiced "no!" the collector voiced, as Carina grabbed onto the stone.
