THE MOON WAS FULL  overhead, casting a silver glow over the gardens of King's Landing. Rhaenys, Aemma, Corlys, and Daemon huddled together, their voices hushed as they discussed ways to stop the impending wedding.

"We need to think of something drastic," Rhaenys said, her brow furrowed in concern. "The King and Queen will not be swayed by reason alone."

"I have an idea," Corlys said, a sly grin spreading across his face. "We could...ah, but no, it's too risky."

"Tell us," Daemon urged, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Just as Corlys was about to speak, a figure emerged from the shadows. Rhea Royce, the bride-to-be, approached them hesitantly, her eyes darting back and forth between the group.

"Forgive me, I couldn't help but overhear," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I think I might be able to help you."

The group stared at her in astonishment, their mouths agape.

"You?" Rhaenys asked, her voice incredulous. "The bride herself wants to help us stop the wedding?"

Rhea nodded, her face pale. "I'm not in love with Daemon, and I don't want to marry him. But my father is forcing me to, and I don't know what to do."

Aemma's eyes widened in surprise. "You're in love with someone else?"

Rhea nodded again, her eyes welling up with tears. "Yes, I am. And I know it's not possible, but I couldn't bear the thought of marrying someone I don't love."

The group exchanged glances, their faces a mix of shock and amusement.

"Well, this is a twist," Corlys said, chuckling. "The bride wants to help us stop the wedding."

Daemon grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I think we have a new ally, friends."

Rhaenys rolled her eyes, a smile playing on her lips. "This is getting more complicated by the minute."

Aemma clapped her hands together, a look of determination on her face. "Well, let's get to work then. We have a wedding to stop, and a love to save."

The group nodded in agreement, their faces set with determination. And Rhea, the reluctant bride, stood among them, a newfound sense of hope on her face.

King Jaehaerys, Queen Alysanne, and Baelon sat in the throne room, their faces stern as they addressed Daemon.

"Daemon, you will spend more time with Lady Rhea Royce," King Jaehaerys said, his voice firm. "You will get to know her, and you will learn to...appreciate her company."

Daemon nodded enthusiastically, a bright smile on his face. "Yes, Grandfather! I'd be delighted to spend more time with Lady Rhea! I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time together."
