Things in ATEEZ's dorm were... chaotic, to say the least.
"Wooyoung, stop running around trying to do everything! It's stressing everyone out" complained Yeosang gently, altough a bit of frustration bled into the sentence.
It was the night before Hongjoong's birthday, and everyone (except the leader, who had regressed and was asleep by 9PM sharp) was hurrying to finish preparing everything they needed to surprise the little in the morning. Cake, presents, decorations... you name it, the boys were preparing it.
"I'm trying to help as many people as possible!" argued Wooyoung, walking towards Jongho, Seonghwa and Yunho who were preparing the birthday cake, trying to be as quiet as possible to not disturb the little's sleep.
"That's it, you're staying there. No more moving" San, who was hanging the decorations on the wall, had a stern tone. And who was Wooyoung to upset his amicus ad aras?
"Okay Sannie" obediently, Wooyoung watched Yunho measure the right amount of flour before adding it to a big bowl.
"Youngie, grab the heavy cream from the fridge please" requested Seonghwa. The boy nodded and stood up, grabbing the carton of cream before sitting down again.
"Can I go help Sangie?" asked Wooyoung, looking at Seonghwa for permission. The oldest sighed but nodded, making Wooyoung run to his best friend, who was busy wrapping everyone's presents.
"Hey Sangie!" smiled Wooyoung, causing a matching smile to form on Yeosang's face. Despite being annoyed at the younger's behavior earlier, he couldn't hide the happiness in being the first person Wooyoung wanted to go to.
"Can I help you?" Yeosang thought about it for a second before nodding and pointing at Mingi's gift, a new pair of headphones.
"You can wrap that one up" said the older. Wooyoung immediately got to work, tongue peeking out of his mouth with how much he was focusing.
Two hours later, everyone had finished their task. The cake was ready, the presents were wrapped and the decorations were nicely displayed on every wall.
"Good job boys" praised Seonghwa. Everyone smiled, until Mingi looked at the clock.
"It's 2 in the morning, we should go to sleep if we want to celebrate properly tomorrow" pointed out the rapper, making everyone agree. Before laying in his own bed, Seonghwa reached out and kissed little Hongjoong's forehead, being careful to not wake him up. Smiling a little, the oldest covered himself with the blanket and quickly fell asleep, thinking about all the fun they would have tomorrow.

Too soon for his liking, Seonghwa's alarm went off, startling the little who started crying. The oldest cursed silently before turning it off and scooping up the leader in his arms.
