*two weeks later*
Yeosang was waiting for a text from Mingi when his phone started vibrating, signalling someone was calling him. Without even reading the contact name he accepted the call, placing his phone next to his ear.
"Hello?"
"Yeosang... help me come back. I realized what I did wrong, but I can't prove to everyone I've changed if I can't even get close to Hongjoong" Seonghwa's voice could be heard, making Yeosang grimace.
"No, I won't" disgusted, Yeosang cut the call.
"Again?" Yeosang sighed as Seonghwa's contact name appeared on his phone screen again after a few seconds. Unwillingly he accepted the call.
"I'm serious, it wasn't the real me talking, I just saw some articles... I realized how badly I acted, and Hongjoong didn't deserve this and I want to prove him I've changed" ranted Seonghwa, afraid the younger would hang up on him again.
"Why did you trust random articles in the first place?" spat Yeosang annoyed.
"I don't know Sang. I just... I read them again yesterday and in the comments I saw many people disagree and call the author a disgusting creep... I didn't see those comments before, I swear. And thinking again, Hongjoong wasn't any of that. Yes, I believed him when he told me he regressed involuntarily, but I forgot after I read those articles and I just assumed he was doing it for fun... I'm so sorry Yeosang, to him and to all of you, I was selfish and stupid, and I want to prove to all of you that I can do better" promised Seonghwa, making Yeosang hesitate. Yes, Seonghwa had been an absolute asshole that day, but he wasn't the one to decide whether the oldest could come back living with them or not. It was Hongjoong's decision to make.
During their schedules, the other members did everything possible to keep Seonghwa away from the leader, though that seemed even more difficult when the boy was regressed, as he couldn't understand why his hyungs were keeping him away from his mama. At first, Seonghwa looked disgusted by the younger, but as the days passed, the oldest looked more and more regretful.
"...sang? Yeosang!" Seonghwa's voice brought the younger back to reality.
"Yeah?"
"I called your name like ten times, you were in your own world" pointed out Seonghwa, making the younger mutter an apologise.
"It's alright. But could you please talk with the others? At least don't keep Hongjoong from me at practice, that way you can still check on him. But please, I need to show him I'm not mad at him anymore" pleaded Seonghwa, making Yeosang sigh.
"I will. But in the meantime, don't even try getting close to Hongjoong. Do your own business at practice, and avoid interacting with him more than necessary" Seonghwa quickly agreed, eager for a second chance.
"I have to go now, we'll have a group meeting soon though" after a quick goodbye, Yeosang cut the call with his trembling hands.
"What the hell..." murmured the boy, holding his head between his hands.
"What happened Yeo?" Yunho entered the room just in time to see Yeosang fall into an anxiety attack.
"Whoa, it's okay buddy. Just try breathing with me, in and out" Yeosang tried his best to follow the older's breathing but failed, getting him even more worked up.
"No, take it easy. We can go through this, it's okay if you can't do it right away. Just breathe" reassured Yunho, holding the younger's hand.
After fifteen minutes, with Yunho guiding his breathing, Yeosang was finally able to breathe normally again.
"What happened?" asked quietly the older. The younger was laying down on his bed with his head on Yunho's laps.
"Seonghwa called me" muttered Yeosang.
"And what did he say?" hummed Yunho, hiding his concern.
"He wants us to let him near Hongjoong, at least at practice. He said he trusted some sexual age regression articles and that led him to believe Hongjoong was faking, or whatever he believed. He told me countless times he had changed but what should I do? I mean, Hongjoong doesn't even know what Seonghwa said behind his back for God's sake! He thinks Seonghwa's just having a bad day every single day! We can't go on like this hyung, especially when he's regressed it's heartbreaking. We should at least tell Hongjoong why Seonghwa's behaviour was so odd" complained Yeosang, making Yunho nod.
Just then, Hongjoong entered the room.
"Do you want to- oh" Hongjoong stopped mid-sentence seeing Yeosang's puffy eyes and red nose.
"What happened Sangie?" worried the leader.
"Tell him" muttered Yunho, making Hongjoong worry.
"What happened?" repeated Hongjoong, slight panic in his voice.
"Seonghwa said shit about your regression and blamed it on the internet" told Yeosang briefly. Hongjoong looked confused.
"No he didn't, he is the one who treats me best" furrowed his eyebrows Hongjoong.
The two told him briefly what happened that day, making Hongjoong shocked to say the least. He couldn't believe it.
"So now Seonghwa wants to come here again, or at least not be kept from you anymore" finished Yeosang, making Hongjoong nod.
"Well, I kinda feared something like this would happen. Yes, my regression helps me, but not many people understand it. I understand Seonghwa's point of view" said the leader, making the two younger boys look at him surprised.
"Yeah, it's okay. He can come back if he understood what he said was wrong and really believes it" nodded Hongjoong with a smile.
The two looked at each other doubtful, but agreed with the leader.
"What did you want to tell us hyung? When you entered the room" asked Yunho.
"Oh, right. Wanna come with me to get ice cream?" Yunho and Yeosang noticed how the older's voice sounded more high-pitched than usual, but decided to not point it out.
"Sure, let's go" Hongjoong cheered and took the two boys' hands, dragging them out of the room.
