You were two weeks away from Paisley's due date and you were super uncomfortable. You had been having some mild contractions, but you didn't think anything of it. Jack's mom was going to drive down to Atlanta a week before your due date to be there and help you and Jack. She wanted to come down sooner, you and Jack, but mostly you, had insisted that it would be fine if she waited. Your doctor said you weren't showing signs of going into labor soon, and Jack decided against arguing with you about it. With Paisley being your first baby, neither you nor Jack knew how quickly things could change.

You had been having braxton hicks contractions for about a month now, which scared Jack and Urban every time. Jack and Urban were already protective of you, but even more so once you got pregnant, and as you reached the end of your pregnancy they pretty much didn't let you do anything without help. You found it annoying at first, but the further you got, the harder your pregnancy got, so you became okay with the extra help.

You and Jack had been working on the babies room almost all day, and you were exhausted. You, Jack, and Urban had sat down to watch a movie, but you ended up going to your room before the movie had even been picked. You fell asleep almost immediately, but you woke up about an hour and a half later. You got up to get some water and as soon as you stood up you felt your water break, or at least what you thought was your water breaking. You walked out into the living room.

"Are you okay?" Jack asked as soon as he saw you walk around the corner. Urban was asleep on the couch.

"Don't panic, but I think my water just broke," You said and Jack jumped up off the couch.

"Wait, really? We have to go to the hospital, I'll grab the bags. Wait, are you okay? Are you in pain? Do you need help?" Jack asked, automatically panicking. Jack panicking woke up Urban.

"What's happening?" He asked.

"Y/N's water broke," Jack answered as he practically ran to your room to grab the hospital bags.

"I thought that wasn't supposed to happen for a little while?" Urban asked.

"My due date was in two weeks, but she could be coming early." Jack came out of your room, carrying the bags.

"Urban, take these bags to the car." Jack said, handing everything to Urban.

"We don't have to go to the hospital yet," You reminded Jack.

"But didn't you say you might have been having contractions last night? We should go, the worst thing that could happen is they send us home."

"You should go because I am not about to be responsible for delivering a baby," Urban said before walking out to take the bags to the car.

"But I can't have her now, your moms not here."

"We can call her on the way," Jack reassured you.

"But I don't want her to panic and try to rush here if I'm not into labor."

"Okay, then let's go find out if you're in labor, if you are, we can call her, if not then maybe we should call her tomorrow and see if she can come down earlier just in case," Jack suggested and you nodded.

"Okay." You agreed, both of you walking out to the car. You met Urban half way.

"You guys going?" He asked, and you and Jack nodded.

"Yeah, Jack's insisting."

"Well, text me when you know if you're in labor, or I guess have Jack text me, it doesn't really matter. If you aren't, I'll see you two soon, and if you are, I hope the baby doesn't have a big head like Jack," Urban said, making you laugh.
