Having 3 kids on Christmas morning meant that there was wrapping paper everywhere. Half of the morning was typically spent trying to keep Sadie and Maple from eating the paper the kids threw on the ground. In previous years, you've dealt with it, a little mess on Christmas morning wasn't a big deal.
This year though, Jack came prepared. The whole time Paisley, Olive, and Hayden were opening presents, he was nearby with a trash bag. He barely let the wrapping paper hit the floor before he picked it up. Admittedly, it was a lot more peaceful without having to pull wrapping paper out of two dogs' mouths.
"You're such a dad," You teased Jack, who finally sat down for a second.
"What do you mean?" Jack asked, confused.
"You know what I'm talking about, the classic trash bag on Christmas morning for all the wrapping paper, instead of letting them make a mess and cleaning it up later."
"Hey, it's not my fault you used 20 rolls of wrapping paper per kid," Jack said, leaning forward to pick up more wrapping paper.
"I did not use 20 rolls of wrapping paper per kid, I didn't even use close to 20 rolls of wrapping paper for all of them," You said.
"With the amount of wrapping paper that's on the floor, I'm not sure if I believe you," Jack said before getting back up to pick up more wrapping paper. "It's everywhere, we're going to be finding it for days," Jack said, picking a piece of wrapping paper out of Paisley's hair.
