New Year's had just passed, and the Malfoys had gone home. Unlike some of my friends, celebrating the beginning of the year with many different guys was not ideal, especially for this 'new start'. So, unfortunately, I had no New Year's kiss.
Today is the day when the holiday break has come to an end, and to me and my brother's dismay, we still do have to go to school. What I'm not excited about though, is the fact it's the last semester, meaning lots of work, and tests are going to be due in these next couple months. Also, I am going to have to see Ryder.
I'd be lying to say I haven't spent this break thinking about him, and unfortunately, it's not in the loving, and missing way I would like. After he had slipped me that love potion, there is no possible way to defend him anymore, especially if my brother finds out. He will make it his personal mission to gut the boy from the inside out.
So, here I am, frantically gathering everything I need to pack for school in a messy pile before organising it in sections.
Only if we were allowed to use magic outside of school...
About half an hour later, I am laying tiredly on top of my bed trying to get the last remaining hours of the night to sleep, before school starts tomorrow.
1:16 am, and yet I still can't seem to fall asleep. The unfamiliar nagging feeling as if somethings missing pulls inside of me, yet now, I can't just walk across the hall to where that familiar blonde should be sleeping.
Pretty much every night of the break Draco and I had slept in the same room, very careful to not alert, or be too obvious about it. Yet Narcissa still found out, so I guess we weren't too careful.
Stop thinking about him! It's just going to be harder to hide at school; that is if he even decides he still likes me then!
Coming to the conclusion that no sleep will be present tonight; I decide to go look for a new book to read. Scanning my shelves, I try to find one that I have yet to look through, yet to my dismay there is none.
I thought mum would have given me one for my birthday, no? Oh, wait...
Cursing Draco, I promise myself to try and get it back once I see him again. But for now, I continue to scan through the dimly lit room, eager to find something to do.
Maybe I can work out? I mean it is a new year, might Aswell get that killer bod?
Finally, landing on the idea to watch a show, I decided on the classic, muggle, American, one 'Gilmore Girls'. Before long, I am asleep like a baby.

Just by waking up, I could already tell that today is going to be rough. Running on half a brain cell and two cups of brew, I wish my mother goodbye before boarding the Hogwarts express. Many familiar faces are wishing their parents goodbye, as I spot the Weasleys in the crowd, Luna, Lavender, and Seamus.
Making my way down the train, I am solely focused on finding an empty compartment.
"Hey, Nitara!" I hear my name being called behind me.
"Huh?" I turn and look, only to find myself in front of Ginny. "Oh, hey Ginny!"
"Hi." We stand amongst each other before a voice behind him yells out.
"Aye, get moving or go into a compartment! People are trying to get through!"
"Give us a second you dumb wit!" The red head replies back.
"Ginny!" I laughed out astonished, as I pulled her into the nearest compartment, which happens to be empty.
"Sorry about that." She smiles. "Some people are just... so rude!"
