Waking up, I rub my eyes as they adjust to the beaming light, shining through from outside. Sitting up straight, I look out to the black lake sitting still outside my window. I slip on my slippers, and make my way quietly to the bathroom, so as to not disturb Pansy, and Sylvia in their restful slumber. Washing my face and teeth, I throw on some makeup before going to my closet.

I don't care what Snape says, it's the weekend.

Throwing on some grey sweats and a hoodie, I head out to the common room. Only the fire is keeping me company, as no witch or wizard wants to be awake on a Saturday at 7:00 in the morning.

I pity the other person who got detention with Snape today.

Finally, around 7:25 AM, I make my way to the dining hall, knowing that Snape is not going to let me get a lunch break. My hands meet a ripe, golden honey crisp apple. Satisfied, I leave and follow my footsteps to Snape's dreadful classroom.

"You're late." His dull, tired, voice calls out. Checking the time, I read 7:31AM.

Shit

"Sorry Professor."

Actually, entering the class now, I'm eager to see who else I will be sharing this awful detention with. First scanning the front, then middle, my eyes land upon gloomy grey ones, lifelessly staring back at me, toward the end of the classroom.

"I'm sorry Sir, this must be a misunderstanding! There has to be more students-"

"Be quiet Ms. Hyde. You shall be working with Mr. Malfoy on the project unless you want more detentions. I would have no other choice than to fail you." At which Draco smirks at Snape's remark.

Bloody hell. Hopefully we can at least get a good grade.

Taking a seat afar, Snape is now present in the front of the class.

"You two will be studying about the commonly known Wiggenweld healing potion, that we have mentioned in class. You will take notes on what the ingredients are to this potion, the order as they may go in, side effects, and other important information on the matter. I expect three pages of notes, front and back each, before Monday. As well, you two must get an E or above on the final project. Now, there will not be enough time to get this all done, so I expect you two to be working together during study hours."

This caused a groan to escape my mouth.

"You must not fool around, or will each be given two more days of detention. No warnings so now begin." And just as the words escaped his mouth, Snape was now gone, disappearing into his office.

It's like he wants us to work with each other outside of class.

Slowly dragging my feet over to where Draco is, I take out my textbook causing a bit of dust to rub off and onto the desk.

"Ugh. Your books are filthy!" Draco scoots away from me wiping his robes. "Father always gets me the best kind! I'd expect better from a Slytherin, well I guess you don't count." He snorts out before taking out a book in pristine shape.

"Oh, for Merlin's Sake, shut up!"
After a bit of bickering back and forth, we manage to get our notebooks out and begin taking notes. "I still don't understand why we have to do this together?" I mumble under my breath.

"Shut up Mud-blood! I'm trying to focus and you thinking out loud is interrupting my train of thought!"

"Draco I'm a pureblood! You know that." He scoffs before turning away and mumbling something under his breath.

Whatever.

I stopped caring and continued this monstrous number of notes that I could.
