I sat in my bed, head in hands trying to process the thoughts in my mind. I knew Pansy was fibbing, and was just jealous of me and her sister's friendship, but a small sting in my heart was apparent, knowing that me and Sylvia had been spending less, and less time together.
Attempting to push those thoughts to the back of my mind, I stood up in the—now empty—dorm and made my way to my dresser. It has been a long day, since everything with Ryder, Pansy, and now the celebration dinner. The one thing I was excited for though, was the food, as I am bloody starving!
Fixing any flaws in my appearance, I exited my room and started descending down the stairs to the common room. Hasty footsteps were apparent behind me, as I swiftly stepped aside, in order to not be ran into. To the right, a Slytherin dressed in a clean jersey, shining shoes, and his usual combed blonde hair made his way down the stone steps. My heart was caught in my throat as Pansy—who's hand was interlinked with his—pushed past me.
"Bloody hell Nitara, move. We have places to be." I didn't scowl back but instead continued descending, with my eyes locked on the back of Draco's head the whole time. Yet he didn't bother to turn around.
As the two of them left, only a few students were left in the common room. Some students who are trying to finish the last bits of homework for the year but mostly first and second years, –as you had to be at least 13 to attend or younger but with a parental signature.
With my purse in my hand, I exited the common room and was delighted to see many students lingering in the halls, and talking to their friends before the Quidditch finals celebration. Ginny was chatting with Harry, when I walked past the two. Waving at me, I sent a knowing smirk in her way before she blushed and turned back to the golden boy.
Finally, approaching the final hall leading into the great hall, I could barely even move around as it was so packed. The doors had yet to be opened, as a big countdown timer with only a couple minutes left was apparent. Standing with me, many anticipating students with big grins and smiles on their faces were. Even other houses were just as excited.

Everyone cheered and backed up, as the two huge double doors opened themselves up, allowing entry to all the students. My mouth gaped open as the green and silver hue glowed, even outside of the Dining hall. Walking in, careful not to trip with the many different fellow schoolmates around me, the room looked astonishing.
The usual long, house tables were replaced with rows of chairs facing a raised platform at the front. Many Slytherin banners were hung from the ceiling, fluttering gently as if in a light breeze, and occasionally sparkle in the house's colours. To the far right stood a long table, which reached from the very front of the Great Hall to the very back. On it were placed a huge variety of different foods, pastries, liquids, and other varieties of supper.
The front three rows of seating were coloured in green, reserved for us Slytherins only, as the rest were black, though the very first row was a metallic silver, for all the quidditch players. Taking a seat, I found myself next to Crabbe on one side and a Slytherin boy who looked to be in his 6th year. I exchanged a head nod with Malfoys friend, and looked straight forward.
"Did you know that they are going to add something to quidditch?"
"What do you mean?" I questioned the black-haired boy to my right.
"I have no idea. Rumours to be an added audience or something. At least that's what the prefects told me. It should start the year after next, since next is the Triwizard tournament."
