Wilbur's POV
Following the drawing that Jessica gave us, if she didn't make a mistake, then this is their house. It's a decent Victorian house, its exterior was painted in crisp white while its roof was topped with dark shingles, matching Jessica's description.
Their house was located a few blocks away from De la Villa's estate. That's the reason why this place is so familiar since Ken and I passed by here when we walked towards Sta. Lucia.
A sharp voice spoke up beside me.
She's jealous. How cute. But I can't let her feel this way.
Without saying a word, I gently took her by the waist and pulled her closer to my side. In shock, she instinctively clutched at my chest. "Listen," I softly whispered to her tiny ears. "You're the only girl I loved and will love. There's no one else but you. Understood?"
She pulled away, looking at me with frustration. You're not in the position para magsabi ng gan'yang mga salita sa'kin. In short, hindi tayo magjowa! Understood?" Mataray pa niya akong sinagot.
"If that's the case, how can I apply for that position?" I smirked right after I said it.
She's once again blushing.
She can hide her feelings through words and tone, but she can't be able to hide her cheeks. Blushing is an involuntary human function and one can't do anything to stop it.
"Why did you came along with me here anyway? May afternoon subjects ka pang papasukan."
"I said what I said." She looked at me with those kind eyes. "I wanna help you."
I couldn't help but smile. "Thank you, Samantha." As I spoke, I caressed her cheek, feeling the warmth of her skin that I felt a long time ago.
I looked into her eyes who was also gazing into mine. The last time I saw her cry was day when I saved her and she asked me a big favor to marry her. And that was it, after that day, our smiles became wider. It couldn't be better.
After her eyes, her lips was my next target. The urge to kiss her was overwhelming. I want her so badly and---
"I'm sorry."
Right, may kaso pa pala akong aatupagin.
Just wait, Samantha.
I started knocking on the door. Samantha stood behind me, her presence here alone made my anxiousness a bit lighter.
After several knocks I made, the door opened slightly. I was taken aback from the glitching face that is peeking through the gap. And that's when I realized, it was Jessa.
"Wil? Anong ginagawa mo rito?" Tanong niyang may pagtataka. I know that showing up unannounced in someone's house is rude but here I am anyway.
"Hey, Jes," I greeted her first, keeping my voice steady as possible. "Can I have a minute with you to talk about something... important?"
