In Chapa's Phone Home when Bose confessed that he is the boy who stole Chapa's phone and was scared to tell her he had her phone I wish he confessed his feelings to her, saying he's also scared to tell her how he truly feels about her. How special she is to him.
But first let me write this:
While Chapa is blackmailing Mika down in S.W.A.G. Bose and Ray are up in the Man's Nest.
Atom transition to them.
Bose is nervously pacing back and forth while Ray is just standing there, trying to calm Bose down.
Ray:"Bose, son, we need to tell Chapa what happened with her phone in the first place."
Bose's eyes widen in surprise. He stops pacing and looks at Ray.
Bose:"What?! Are you crazy?! No way! I can't just tell her that I'm the boy who stole her cell phone!"
Ray:"Why not? Is it because she'll destroy you?"
Bose:"Well, that's part of the reason, but...(Laugh track is heard)(Bose sighs)Look, Ray, believe me, this isn't easy for me! I really like Chapa! She's the only person I look forward to seeing everyday."
Ray:"Are you trying to hurt me? Because it's working."
Bose:"I just...I don't wanna lose her. I don't wanna hurt her either. That's the last thing I wanna do! She's really amazing. She's beautiful, funny, smart, brave, loyal, caring..."
Ray:"Okay, okay, enough with the list, son. We'll be here all day if you go over the whole list!"
Bose:"Yeah, good point."
Laugh track is heard.
Later
Chapa:"And you should have told me you had my phone!"
Bose:(Sad that Chapa is angry and upset at him)"I know."
Chapa:"Ray's basically a child, but I expect more from you!"
Bose:"I know."
Ray:(Offended at being called a "Child")"Hey!"
Chapa:"I thought we were friends!"
Bose:"We are!"
Chapa:"Well then why didn't you tell me?!"
Bose:"I was scared! Scared of losing our friendship! Scared of you never wanting to see me or talk to me again! Scared of hurting you! Scared of losing you! Scared of losing my chances with you!"
Surprised by his words, Bose snapped his mouth shut immediately and went silent. He shifted his eyes away from her, unsure whether to keep telling her how he truly feels about her, or just leave it at those words. Of course, he knew Chapa would question him about it, but he was still afraid that he would hurt her even more, or wouldn't feel the same way for him. But, he knew he couldn't just leave it at that as he stared at those chocolate brown eyes, still filled with anger and hurt and filled with tears, which made Bose wince.
Bose:(In his head)"They were trusting eyes. Now they're angry eyes."
Taking in a breath of air and letting it out slowly, the long haired boy looked back at Chapa's upset yet confused yet curious face and said...
Bose:"Chapa...please believe me when I say this...I am really, really sorry. For stealing your phone and causing you an 8 years worth of grief and pain. I can't go back in time and fix what happened...but one thing I can do, is tell you how I really and truly feel about you. How I've always felt about you. It's time you learned that, but I was too scared to do so, but it's now or never. So, here goes nothing."
