Mika's Mom:(Through the door that Chapa has her ear up against)"I found out my daughter is at the kissing boy stage of growing up and I am not ready to deal with it."
Chapa turns her head to see her super secret crush Bose and her BFF Mika looking sus.
Chapa walks up to them.
Chapa:"Who are you kissing?"
Bose:"That would be me."
Miles, Mika, and Bose:"Ew. Hey!"
Chapa:"First of all...(fake smiles to hide the pain; she is totes obvi jelly. The jelly cake's not the only jelly there...)nice girl! Second of all, how long has that been going on?"
Mika:"Okay, we didn't actually kiss."
Bose:"Oh yeah, we just made it out."
Chapa makes a jealous facial expression.
Bose:"I mean, made it up. Oh, man, that is a tongue twister. Kind of like in our kiss that didn't happen. Am I right?(starts elbowing Mika)Am I right? Am I right?"
Mika pushes Bose off of her.
Mika:"Whatever. You're done, buddy."
Chapa has a jealous and sad facial expression.
GOD DAMN FUCKING LAUGH TRACK! THIS IS NOT FUNNY! A SWEET LITTLE GIRL WHO IS SAD IS NOT FUNNY! Come on! Do you wanna see a little girl cry? Cause it's not as funny as you think!
Okay! That scene was hot garbage but let's move on! This next part is MY WAY!
Chapa is on the verge of crying but she holds her tears back.
Chapa:"Would you excuse me for a sec? Thanks."
Chapa runs upstairs to her room.
Mika:"Volt! Get back down here! We still have to fix this!"
Bose:"We can fix this later! Cut her some slack! She's upset! And I'm gonna go find out why. I'm gonna go talk to her."
Bose goes upstairs as well, just in time to see Chapa's bedroom door close. He puts his ear against the door and hears...
Crying?
Bose's frowns. He doesn't want his best friend to be sad.
He softly knocks on the door.
Bose:(Gently)"Chapa?"
Chapa:(Voice cracking)"Do not come in."
Bose's heart breaks. He hated hearing his best friend so upset.
Bose opens the door and walks in. He surveyed Chapa's room. He's never been in Chapa's room before. Sure, he's seen it in video chat during quarantine but he's never been there in PERSON. Bose sniffed and smiled. He liked the smell of it, it smelled just like Chapa. He noticed her 'Known Phone Locations!' poster is down. Makes sense because she doesn't need that poster anymore since she has her phone again. He noticed a bulletin board of pictures of him, Miles, Mika, Chapa, and pictures of her family. Bose noticed that there was more pictures of him than the others and there were also big and small red and pink hearts around them. 'Huh' He thought to himself. He noticed a basketball in the corner. He noticed a nutmeg scented candle on Chapa's dresser, along with large earrings. He noticed a few stuffed goats on Chapa's bed which is red and has a crying Chapa laying facedown on it. Bose's heart shattered. He didn't want Chapa to be so upset.
Bose:"Hey."
Chapa, who was facedown on her bed, looks up, an annoyed look on her face.
Chapa:(Annoyed)"What did I just say?"
