Once Klaus and I arrived at the mansion I sighed and looked at him, the car ride over had been quiet, "Are you angry with me?" He turned and looked at me when I had stopped following, "Do I love that you took control and commanded authority? Yes. Do I like that you let Tyler off the hook? No." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, "I didn't let him off the hook. He is on the run. You only get to kill him if you catch him. But you aren't following after him."

I set Joye's carrier down and picked her up out of it. Klaus smiled softly and held his hand out, "That reminds me, I have something to show you, little wolf." I smiled, he hadn't used that nickname in a while. I took his hand and let him lead us upstairs. I looked around. Things were more put together than when we were here last. More art was hung on the walls. It felt more homey that was for sure.

He stopped in front of a room and smiled back at us, "It's not much, but I had something put together." He opened the door and my smile brightened as I stepped through the threshold of the room. He had a nursery put together for Joye. A beautiful old crib was off to the side, it looked hand-carved. Paintings of baby animals covered the walls and in a beautiful font, Joye's name was painted onto the wall. I turned and looked at him, "You did this?"

I stood in the doorway as I watched her explore the nursery I created for Joye. I could see the inkling of tears bubble in her eyes as she pointed at things and whispered to Joye. Amity laid her down in the crib and tucked her in before coming over to me, wrapping her arms around my neck. My hands find her waist and my lips find hers as she leans up to kiss me. I hum against her and pull her closer, "Do you like it?"

She nods and I smile wider. I look down at her and stroke her cheek, "I may not be able to give you more children, but I will take care of the child we do have and make sure she has everything she needs, wherever she is." She laced our fingers together and smiled, "You are the best father I could ask for my, our daughter, Klaus. If only the others saw what I did." I smiled sadly and kissed her forehead.

"I'm almost finished with school. The girls are planning to go to college together, Paige and I made no plans. Well, Paige will probably travel with Elijah. Spencer is set here, I want Joye and I to be wherever you will be." I stroked her cheeks and kissed the tip of her nose, "I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. Unless something happens that needs my attention." She nodded and wrapped her hand around mine as it stroked her cheek.

I laced our fingers and spun her around before wrapping an arm around her waist and starting to sway us gently back and forth. She giggled and started to hum a little, giving us something to dance to. I rested my forehead on hers again and closed my eyes as I breathed her scent in.

I led her down to my art room, leaving Joye to sleep for the next few hours. I let go of Amity's hand as she went over to the couch and sat down, pulling her legs up under her. I smiled as I grabbed two wine glasses and poured us both a small glass. I went over and offered it to her. She stared at it a minute and I started to pull it back when she reached for it, "I think after everything this is a bit needed."

I sat next to her at the other end of the couch as we sipped our wines and spoke about different things, "If you could go anywhere, where would you go?" She tapped her chin and tapped her toes on the couch, "I've always wanted to go to Greece. I love the mythology and would love to see the old temples." I smiled, "I'd love to take us to Greece one day." She smiled and blushed, "I'd travel the world with you. Maybe when Joye is grown." I hummed and swirled my wine, "Why not take her with? When she starts school we can travel during the summer. I do plan on whisking you away for a honeymoon once we are married. I'm sure your siblings could watch her while we are gone."
